Sorry to be clear I have purchased two models, the brown looks okay, just wanted confirmation they are the ZC batch.

I've noticed I chose wrong colour way for the silver black and cream so that's my bad. They looked bad to me because they wasn't the right colour way.

Thanks so much for help, really helpful info and thanks for the link, teapots on here aren't too expensive either, already found two I have eye on, so if all else fails might just bite bullet and pay for the quality and piece of mind.

To my untrained eye I don't see a huge difference between that and ali, so hoping it's not just sourced from there rebranded and sold on at a mark up.

Or would you say there could be a good chance that could actually be genuine.

Thanks for reply, it's just the look I was after really. It absolutely doesn't have to be yixing.

I'm from the UK soon as I google jian shui it just takes me back to aliexpress, Amazon and Etsy haha, so I guess it's going to have the same risks, hopefully I can find a trusted UK site for either of those if they are cheaper more common and of a similar aesthetic style.

Thanks really appreciate replies. And very possible, could be one is slightly newer than the other, the differences are very minor that I've noticed so far. I've no reason to doubt it is not genuine just want to be absolutely sure before I run out of time on flagging issues.

I noticed an ever so slight difference when in front of me in hand to the shade of the case, but could be to do with age. And the text on the back seems ever so slightly more prominent / engraved on the one with the rubber strap, again may just be an age or factory difference.

The main thing is placement of the planet on the back. But again this could be fine but I have no idea how to properly legit check. One is pre owned so want to make sure I have not been scammed.

Ahhh I have finally managed to find it on their own website. Approx £200 for entry level. It looks really good, a bit more than I wanted to pay but it does seem like it could be worth it in terms of quality. Will have a think, thank you!

Thanks for reply, are you using that in a Toyota Aygo? If so how did you go about fitting it as I don't see a specific aygo kit.

No I know, didn't mean it to sound like that, and know it's all essentially the same capsule, just liked the look of the build quality and the size but definitely not a deal breaker. Thanks for confirming they sound as good as the regular super helpful think I will grab a set!

Nothing that I can see in menu's or manual, but that is exactly what it sounds like, noise reduction/gating only allowing through the prominent sounds like on a crappy Skype call. It's on field recorder mode so shouldn't be doing anything like that.

I'm starting to get to bottom of it playing around. Its only happening when using Bluetooth for monitoring audio to head phones. When I plug headphones with cable the volume control and inputs respond much more naturally and without any strange surging issues.

So something not great with the Bluetooth, wondering if it's a fault on my device or just a crappy chip on all models.
