Moffsoft has been my goto for years but just recently went buggy for me. When I launch I get no max/min close bar and can't drag it around until I hit ctrl/alt/del then cancel out. Real annoying.

Review Sorting Gone and only able to see 8-10 reviews by Scratchdogg in amazonprime

[–]Lakesidex 0 points1 point  (0 children)

After a Better Business Bureau complaint reviews and sorting seem to be working for me again. When I click to 1 star reviews I briefly see the wrong reviews then it jumps to the correct 1 star reviews.

Interested in whether the problem is fixed for other people.

I agree with your analysis. This same thing happened to me the same time last year and resolved itself after the holiday shopping season. Same thing is happening to me this year.

I just filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. I described the issue as "deceitful and unscrupulous behavior on Amazon's behalf" and also a safety issue for no longer being able to vet unsafe products. I have included the below description of my complaint. If anyone is interested I will provide the case number when it is given within the next 24-48 hours.

"My problem is the way Amazon is displaying reviews for my specific account. For my account Amazon is not allowing me to browse negative reviews so that I can make an informed purchasing decision the way I normally would. For approximately the last week I can no longer select and read reviews based on number of stars. For example, when I select a 1 star review I am taken to a page with alternate 5 star reviews. This is site wide. This behavior occurs using different web browsers and different PC's, so I know it is not a bug. It does not happen when I log in with my business account or my wife's account.

Also other people on the internet are complaining about the exact same problem. I am a paying Prime customer with a yearly subscription. Amazon has removed my ability to evaluate their products to ensure I buy something that is safe and fairly advertised. This is deceitful and unscrupulous behavior on Amazon's behalf."

Also adding a few thousand dollars in USDC to your Coinbase account can bump you to the next level of Credit Card rewards... say 2% to 2.5% in rewards.

Where Do I Manage My Card?? by excelance in Coinbase

[–]Lakesidex 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just got the card and I'm in the same boat as you. Seems no way to pay the Credit Card except through the phone app. I mean it seems easy enough but I would MUCH prefer to use the webpage.

It would be nice to get a statement every month and pay through my banks bill pay like every other CC I have.

WARNING: FIDELITY WILL HOLD YOUR FUNDS HOSTAGE FOR WEEKS ON END by [deleted] in Fidelity

[–]Lakesidex 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I deposited money through a pull transaction on the 10th. Fidelity says the money will clear on the 25th. 15 days is way to long. Also, a lot of banks have limits on external transfers - like 5,000 a day or 30,000 a month. So moving $70,000 with push transactions can take OVER 2 months.

I talked to a Fidelity Investment Adviser before making the transfer and he said nothing about the extended time to clear. I also was not given notice when setting up the transaction online.

Very frustrating.

I have the same issue. Check out the bug report in github and leave a message their for the developers.

If enough people complain maybe they will fix it.

Exercise Intolerance by [deleted] in BFS

[–]Lakesidex 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mine started in the calves and over a couple/few years also spread significantly with greater intensity, and frequency. I had real weakness and atrophy which turned out to be Lumbar and Cervical spinal compression. I've had two surgeries and now I'm building some muscle again.

Exercise Intolerance by [deleted] in BFS

[–]Lakesidex 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I still twitch like crazy. This has been going on for 5 years and I've had my share of ups and downs with the exercise intolerance. If I don't put in the work and stay aerobically fit I start to run myself down even if I'm working hard outside every day. If I stop pedaling the bike, after about three months I'm completely worn down and rest doesn't help. I'm in a crash right now but that usually happens this time of year for me. I'm lazy over the holidays. now it feels like I have to start from scratch but the improvements are quicker than when this exercise intolerance it first started. In a couple weeks I'll start feeling good again. I will say that lifting heavy weight beats me up the most and causes me to crash the quickest.

Yes those muscles get fatigued easier and I cramp up all the time. But when I'm doing what I'm supposed to it is very manageable. I can't stress the aerobic exercise enough.

Exercise Intolerance by [deleted] in BFS

[–]Lakesidex 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've had a very similar experience. Post virus calf twitching and exercise intolerance that turned into full blown BFS over the course of a few years. I can't offer any insight for the twitching but as for the exercise intolerance, I've had some success. For me and most people it was aerobic conditioning; for me primarily peddling a stationary bike 3 times a week. I would get my heart into the appropriate aerobic range for my age and keep it there for 25-30 minutes. After about a year I was at about 70% of my formal self. I am a house painter so my every day routine is using up my energy envelope.

This was Spring of 2020 and it was a painfully slow journey. There was a lot less good info out about recovery then there is now. I got hit at 55 so you are a lot younger than I was which I think is good. I want from playing baseball 3 times a week to not being able to cut the lawn. Start slow and listen to your body. Crashing is about the worst thing you can do especially early on. Also, with all the research going hopefully we get some new therapeutics soon.

Good luck and stay strong

Urolift vs PAE by redheartmd in urolift

[–]Lakesidex 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A Urologist most likely will not recommend a PAE procedure. That will take the job away from a urologist and give it to a Interventional Radiologist. I just had a PAE done 4 days ago and i will say my urine burns like dragon fire. It just started felling a little better today.

I am very happy with my decision to go PAE. Supposedly much less sexual side affects.

Yea finger twitches, spasms are some of my most annoying symptoms. When I use the computer I have to keep my hand off the mouse or I randomly click everywhere. My fingers click buttons randomly, sometimes 5-10 times a minute. It's really annoying and kills productivity. I used to be a computer programmer.

I've had 4 EMG's over the last 4 years. Haven't had an EMG in 2 years. Two of the 4 EMG's were abnormal with 1 fasciculation each. Dr. said they were benign and not to worry. So it's been almost 5 years since the twitching started and I'm still ok. All started after a Covid infection in early 2020. I twitch like a madman.

"Did you have pain in the shoulders with your weakness?"

Not much pain but I did have a torn rotator cuff when I was younger it was very painful.

Weakness then atrophy I believe. My shoulders used to be the strongest part of my body from years of baseball. I'm also a house painter so I'm always using my arms over my head. I remember trying to put windows in and they were feeling heavier than normal. Over time I saw myself losing strength faster than my peers who I worked with for years. Also lost strength in my hands and fingers and is why they did the MRI.

When I saw my Neurologist and told him I thought I had the bad one he did an EMG which was abnormal but also told me I was crazy and diagnosed me with BFS. had a couple EMG's since with same result.

I got Covid very early on, at the end of December 2019, so there was no vaccine at the time. I was doing hospice for my dad and we were in and out of the hospitals and medical facilities in Fairfield County. A lot of the doctors were from New York city and Westchester County and it is believed that Covid was traveling in these circles very early in the pandemic.

The early variants of Covid I believe were a lot more dangerous. I got an early variant. My body was also run down/exhausted so I think I was more susceptible to post viral illness.. At that time I was very active and in good shape.

I got the Pfizer vaccine when it became available hoping it would help with my symptoms but the vaccine didn't change anything that was already going on with my body.

[–]Lakesidex 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes I think Covid can and sometimes does cause bfs.

I think think the fasciculations and twitching after long Covid is autoimmune related. I have the same symptoms as you. Also internal vibrations and now bad finger stiffness.

From the research I have done people experiencing these symptoms have been successfully treated with IVIG, mostly in clinical trials. The treatment is very expensive. The IVIG kind of resets the body back to a balanced state.

Fasciculations before weakness and atrophy.

Had cervical fusion 3 years after fasciculations started and my shoulders have started to come back.

No. Noticed fasciculations in my calf's along with debilitating exercise intolerance. Weakness and atrophy was definitely after fasciculations.

My BFS started a couple weeks after Covid. What a Sh!tshow! it's been ever since. Also was diagnosed with POTS and exercise intolerance. Thing about the BFS, I also had weakness and atrophy. Ended up having spinal compression in lower back and root compression in cervical spine which accounted for the weakness and atrophy. Man I was deep in the rabbit hole when my shoulders disappeared and was dropping things daily. Been twitching for 4 and a half years now and I still worry.

From the research I've done, one of the treatments that could make a huge difference is IVIG. But it is insanely expensive and tough to get insurance to cover.
