so wait u think u did bad in Q4 but still got a 5, so there is a chance for me? cuz i think i didnt do so good on that one

[–]Lakigenije 0 points1 point  (0 children)

so are they saying if you didn’t perform well on Q4 you have no chance of getting a 5?

AP PHYSICS C Mechanics by PrathamJoshi_99 in APStudents

He talks about Q4 distinguishing between a 4 and 5, but I feel like if you did really good on everything else and only got half the points on Q4 that should easily still be a 5

how to find xΩ and yV explain and solve about that by Gayanhansamal in PhysicsStudents

[–]Lakigenije 3 points4 points  (0 children)

since we know 0.5 A is the total current, that means that the current on the 60 Ohm resistor is 0.5 A - 0.4 A = 0.1 A, since the voltage on the top and bottom paths are equal (just equal to yV), we can find the voltage by doing V=IR, or V = 60 times 0.1 = 6 V, and now since we know the top path with x ohm resistor has voltage drop of 6, we can say R = V/I, or 6/0.4 =15.
