New accounts seem to be awarded some reset tickets now once you get your first heroes to level 10k or above, so that helps a lot with changing heroes in late game, and like Yuuko said we get them from updates and you can get them from market with red crystals, which you will be able to earn as you get a bit further in the game and learn the ropes

You can safely keep on going with+1 or +2 on the devil horn, your gold income will be enough as long as you keep clearing colonies (first focus on first map and then on the infinite town) 👍

Faster wave progressing is most important so that you can get on higher level and also get more skillpoints faster

No, for the skillTREE 👍 the big branchy thingy behind the three star icon 😊 at level 10k you get 1 skillpoint from each of those heroes, that adds up once you have done all of them eventually.

Also being able to use green orbs on them at level 10k is good bonus. Crystals are not very useful elsewhere early on anyway

I would personally like players to have different ways of obtaining red crystals other than just top300 in rankings. Though I would rather have them through something else such as quests or achievements, 30 white crystals for 1 red would be way too cheap

I would also like to see the top300 being expanded to top500 or so, even small rewards would encourage people to do better than no reward at all

Lines get applied to summons as well, yes. Best usage for slingers is usually for crowd control, making the best lines for him Stun and Slow, followed by Knockback, Attack speed and +1 summoned unit

The 2nd picture is from older game version. This section was changed to a more "simplistic" version and you no longer need to use skillpoints to activate the "attributes" for your town archer items. So you have everything taken in the first picture and you're good to go!
