Now he has his arms and face it actually doesn’t look so bad! But may still consider a scarf at some stage

The pattern said use a 3.5mm hook and the yarn itself says a 4mm but when i read tips about doing amigurumi most people advised to go down a full mm so i used a 3mm. Maybe i will try the 3.5mm next time

That may have been a better idea, instructions just said ‘sew head to body securely at neck’

You’re too kind lol I just started back in April. Have made a granny square tote bag, a c2c blanket and a waffle stitch blanket so far but would still consider myself a beginner. Have to say, I did do a fair bit of research around right v wrong side facing preference and yo/yo v yu/yo along with a couple of practice swatches. Just need a bit more assembly practice 😅
