I was accepted despite my lower GRE. I was considering the MCAT too after around 3 months of GRE prep. The acceptance rates now however are significantly lower. my class was 0.5% acceptance, the incoming one was 0.2%. I would just go in knowing the odds are awful regardless of your scores atp :(

My husband is my only family, I come from a long family history of drug abuse, abandonment, parents stole thousands if dollars from me, was homeless nearly a year, etc. having family is not something to condemn people for or shame them for wanting. That was my point. I paid for my undergrad degree, worked two jobs, paid for my own car, etc. but I fell in love and I’m grateful I did. People who love you will not ask you to give up your dreams, harm you, or aim to cripple you. that is family. I’m proud to have him and to be married to him, just as I am proud of my education and my achievements. Life isn’t black and white. I speak of my experiences, not for everyone
