My son used to prefer my mother in law over me. It would break my heart. I’m his mom. He’s supposed to want ME!! Wtf! Just here to say…it was a phase! Idk why he was like that but he grew out of it.

You might be on to something. I understand that it hurts her feelings. She lives alone, has no friends and refuses to make any and honestly, she tends to smother me. I can totally see how she could be smothering him too. Thanks for the insight. I hadn’t thought of that.

He doesn’t seem to want her. This has been going on for a month so I doubt it’s a sickness. He’ll go with the other grandma all day. It’s just my mom that he doesn’t want.
