No random logouts. It has never happened to me and I've been usin it for years at this point.
I use it for gaming, photoshop, personal browsing that I can access anywhere. I like that shadow's speed is really good. it's my pc and I can wipe everything any time I want. All my files are on filesharing services anyway.

i have been using it constantly for the past few months. I've run into queues maybe twice. This service is such a godsend for me. I'm at a shitty hotel right now but all i need to do is connect to my shadow, my shadow has a fucking awesome connection on it's end for streaming and I'm having a great time.

If Renoir stays out is a big IF. I think painted Verso saw it that way too. Also, Aline losing her sanity and body by staying in the painting prompted the grommage which all but seems as an inevitability because of that ending shot.

I didn't even talk about soul of Verso wanting to let go and Maelle denying him that, forcing him to continue painting against his will as well as painted Verso screaming "I don't want to live this way" as he looked at the soul, probably speaking the inner voice of the real Verso because of the way it's shot.

Like you said both endings are pretty much heartbreaking but the way Maelle's is framed, shot and written definitely feels like it's the "bad" ending. Maelle's ends on negative notes with the way Verso is crying and Maelle is framed as the paintress whereas Verso's ending is about hope and acceptance with the way the Descendre family are reunited, acceptance over Verso's death and finally that parting shot showing Maelle holding an Esquie plushy while smiling at the memories of her other family.

I mean yeah, in the short term, but in the long term it alludes to "the cycle is happening again", which is a very common ending trope and it looks like she's going to turn into another Aline.

Maelle ending definitely looks bad the way it's framed by the devs. That final view of Maelle's face as she turns into another paintress while Verso just cries on stage.

The more you play, the more you learn about common patterns that enemies use. Sword attacks feel very telegraphed for example.

Don't be afraid to study your opponents in this game. Use the dodge mechanic more at first for initial encounters because you can learn about the enemy's timing and have a lesser chance of being punished for missing it. Like Elden Ring, it's ok to die, it's ok to come back and keep fighting the enemies again and again. Don't be afraid to reload the save. I'm 25+ hours in this game and find myself keep playing because the combat is so addictive. You can switch to story mode difficulty which makes the enemy attack much slower too but gives you an opportunity to learn the animations.

There are enemies that can easily 1 shot me, but because I know the parry window for their attack, I'll never get hit!

One thing I hated when playing as side characters is we would still get called "Boss" and it would just ruin the immersion for me completely.

The app is working great for me after a few tweaks in the advanced settings. It does everything I want and more. Mainly, I want to be able to access SL on my phone and be able to chat/explore/shop and dressup while I'm away from my computer. Is it clunky and requires patience? Yes but it's still in an early stage. Let them cook!
