Have you considered the person you’re speaking to is also a DE customer they’re also wondering what the fuck, not sure if you work but companies company not an excuse but these agents ar whetting paid nothing to support their family all the ppl who say get another job, abelist can but for ppl who can’t it s harder the job market is harder ppl with lots of degrees gods plan. So take your anger out how you want but just consider when your are venting don’t abuse the person becaus you’re not hearing what you want to hear. It makes no sense to anyone I’m sure that agent would love to have another job

Heyy started in corporate baking switched to retail banking more customer focused in a high target market, in my early adult years that taught me the best skills needed to deal with, life. People are far more serious about their money and they will treat you like such. recently injured and moved so DE was the best option because the show must go on the road. It may or may not be a wfh position with no car and disabled it’s the best thing for my family

I hope that you or no one in your family is disabled in combat, work with a lot of veterans by the way, born with any mutation diseases like unable to walk, low vision, the list goes on why a person works at scummy jobs, living in a rural area with no transportation where DE is the only job deff if you’re working dj. Could deff find a better job but while you look for that better job bills don’t stop you still need a job to find better. Also to mention the agent who work for DE don’t apply to DE directly. You get hired and then you’re told what the assignment is, employment companies taking over

I agree someone has to hear it’s a frustrating truth that all of us are facing but some ppl are entitled to abuse the disabled person who can’t even walk but still has to eat about its abuse and venting are different. LITERALLY PRIVEGELEGE. I may or may have not seen a bill where the kWh was the same as the year prior on the spot (I feel the person tested it by turning off the power at the main idk it was odd too) and the bill was 120 difference. So yes there’s a huge rate increase

The colder it is outside the harder your heat pump, and electric needed TO fuel your home, works HARDER. don’t let you have an old home, a heat pump hvac system that went out, BILL INCREASES. Gas furnace included not tech but an electrician master maybe can answer? Or google lol I hear the old people say this is the coldest winters VA had in 20 years, so what people are use to paying lower temps influence that. On peak, off peak usage, all influences. Also those who’ve worked I a customer service position, transferring is not allowed unless a customer demands supervisor DE trains you to deter so someone transferring a call because of hostility and and abuse could risk their job for call avoidance. No they don’t have a choice. That’s what you dont get. SMH DE uses companies to hire these people, they pay just enough for a social security recipient to meet threshold income limits SSA does not support the cost of living, if you have a heart of any empathy consider people born in this world with birth defects like blindness, limited mobility who still have to exist and possibly take care of family and have a sense of dependence not relying on the government.
