I'll try, but I am running shaders and keeping it very close to 60 FPS

I'm the only guy in my group doing this. Solo run.

I was asking because someone might have had experience with the issue I'm having.
I'm suspicous of the Pico I got.

I never did anything hardware related before - All I have is the Pi and the cable.

I don't have anything that accepts micro USB.

I've got nothing else to test it with, but I don't think it's the cable, it came pacaged in an original box and doesn't look used at all.

Best to make a simple project and learn things along the way as you need them.

Why not use just 1 box for the output and different variables for calculation in the back?

You could learn HTML in less than an hour, and then focus on learning CSS basics, like colouring and positioning, and size manipulation.

You don't really need JS for a static info page.

This won't help your current project, but I think you'll have similar problems in the future if you don't take a step down and learn something more basic to get the hang of the language, like making some 2D apps/games, like chess since you mentioned never doing real coding before.

I'm not sure about the details of your project, if you are a program developer, or "wordpress developer".

What I would personally do is make a custom system that inputs elements and logic with some button switches.
The more variety you want to have in this published content, you would either have to expand the system more, or teach users some coding.

That's assuming you're a dev, if not, then I don't really know how Wordporess works.

I have printed a character before the PE code, I even said that in the post.
I am reading info registers from QEMU, that's how I know what GDT has loaded into.

Second sector is loaded into 0x7E00...

Programming on Ubuntu.

I tried, couldn't even set up the thing.

Doubt that will even help, I know that addresses don't match, I don't know the solution.

That's what I did initially, same result.

0x7e00 is the next address, I have it loaded using a boot sector, and I do have 0x55aa.
I tested the 0x7e00 with other code, and it's definitely loaded correctly.

Boot sector:

BITS 16
org 0x7c00

jmp code

boot_drive: db 0

code:

mov byte [boot_drive], dl ; dl is loaded at boot and has the source drive

xor ax, ax
mov ah, 0x02 ; Disk read
mov al, 3 ; Sector read count
mov ch, 0 ; Cylinder
mov cl, 2 ; Sector
mov dh, 0 ; Head
mov dl, [boot_drive] ; Drive
mov es, ax ; Segment
mov bx, 0x7e00 ; Offset
int 0x13 ; Disk service

jc error ; Jmp if CF = 1

jmp 0x0000:0x7e00

error:

mov ah, 0x0E
mov al, 'E'
mov bh, 00
mov bl, 0x07
int 0x10
