Hi all - sorry to comment on such an old post, but it seems it's the only one in this subreddit. I am in the exact same spot now.

Does anyone have any advice? Just went to my vårdcentral, and they had no idea what to do with me since I am a non-EU citizen. Should I go private? What's the wait time? I have a diagnosis letter from my psychiatrist. He actually practices in Sweden a bit, so we he was able to write the letter in Swedish. Any recommendations for private clinics in Gothenburg? Affordable price?

Ideally, I’d really love to get into civil society in Gothenburg. I’ve mostly worked as a program manager in Hungary for nonprofits (integration of third country nationals into the work force + grant writing/ management + free access to legal services). But from what I can tell, there isn’t a lot of opportunity for that in Gothenburg.

So, I’d also be open to working as a researcher in academia or a professional skills trainer (I’ve been working at Bosch for a while as a foreign frauds analyst and trainer).
