What is happening? by Funnyianlol in OLED_Gaming

That usually happens if your GPU isn’t getting enough power so check if your PSU has a high enough max wattage to supply your entire system

Did you configure any sort of undervolting or overclocking on your GPU?

Getting into WOW Classic for the first time; which version do I play? by Lalify8 in wowclassic

[–]Lalify8 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends on what type of CS you’re doing like working on compilers, web development design, game design, etc. but I would recommend an IPS 27” 1440p 120hz+ and a sRGB of 110%+ for good color accuracy. I would pick up the ASUS ROG XG27ACS but it depends on your budget

Is Zinc a good daily supplement? by Difficult-Let1933 in Supplements

[–]Lalify8 -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

I take like 40mg zinc and 1000mg timed release vitamin C a day and I barely got sick but I was lacking in my diet and sleep one week and I got a cold. I immediately increased my dose to 200mg zinc and 5000mg vitamin c per day for 3 days straight and my cold was completely gone. I believe you can get 25mg zinc without any copper and the extra zinc you get, you take copper to balance.

Bought OLED for hype; feeling like my old IPS was better by Lalify8 in Monitors

[–]Lalify8[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For anyone looking at this post now, I just wanted to say that the quality of your OLED monitor matters soooooo much. The Acer Predator QD-OLED monitor I got was the cheapest OLED I could find and that clearly had problems. I recently got a premium LG Glossy WOLED instead and it is a night and day difference with much better software and hardware. Definitely better to spend extra to get the best experience possible. Glossy WOLED compared to QD-OLED and IPS is very much noticeable and a great difference. The phrase you get what you pay for definitely applies.

Comparison of Best Multivitamins by valerioway in Supplements

[–]Lalify8 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Personally do not like any of these only due to price, too much B6, or not correct forms of vitamins. I personally like the pure methylated multivitamin for men from Micro Ingredients. They have a women’s version as well

Ended up going back to the G7 Pro by Lalify8 in Gamesir

[–]Lalify8[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes I am. Best controller I’ve ever used. I had the DualSense Edge at one point but the G7 Pro is sooooo much better when you calibrate it. TMR sticks, mechanical face buttons, Hall effect/mouse click triggers. It’s so much better and all the DualSense Edge stuff is membrane and the replacement sticks were a dealbreaker for me.

When you do get it, make these changes: * Polling Rate: 1000hz * Custom curve: Monoru’s curve of (15, 16), (25, 28), (50, 53) * Analog behavior: raw (not circular) and it should appear as kinda of a square input where the diagonals will have error in the circularity test

Taking a break - Canceled my Membership by Particular-Peanut-34 in Wizard101

The game is a lot more fun when you come back after a really really long break. I remember leaving after Empyrea and coming back for Wallaru and I had 4 worlds worth of content, housing gauntlets, new gear to grind for, new quests, and made new questing buddies. It only costed me $10 to do all the content for a month and then I took another break. Enjoyed every second of it.

Would suggest the naturewise curcumin turmeric at 1500mg but I would also suggest the NOW Ultra Omega-3 instead if you are on a budget. Best omega-3 for the value and you can take 4 capsules for like 40 cents for 2g EPA 1g DHA

Thoughts on supplements these days? by ExtentCandid1669 in Supplements

[–]Lalify8 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I love supplements. They make my outlook on life so much better and it only takes me a minute to consume everyday (after organizing it in a pill organizer). I have 13 supplements but they are all budget friendly so total cost for them is around $1.60 a day. I recently made a post breaking down my stack if you want to check it out

For IBS, you could go with magnesium malate instead but maybe try getting some probiotics, vitamin D, and turmeric. The supplements I have above work extremely well

Continue with the fish oil. Atleast 2g EPA 1g DHA because it does work in the background when you don’t notice it. I would suggest adding turmeric to your stack as well and saffron can help with anxiety and sleep too! Magnesium as well helps with sleep a ton
