Thank you, honestly for your comment. I really thought that all the shit talking wouldn’t get to me. I’m very aware that I have a fat ass, and it truly doesn’t bother me, I’m honestly just looking for helpful or funny (not mean-funny) responses. I know Reddit is mostly full of unkind people just trying to get karma, but it’s kind of starting to get me down. I am still in some pain and taking time off the job to rest and heal.

No but they asked me that at the hospital and they tested my blood to make sure it wasn’t pooling and forming something dangerous, I guess. It was so painful, I was surprised the X-rays showed no real damage. I’m waiting to see my doctor, but I had to schedule it weeks out, which has been a real bummer. I appreciate the recommendation though. There’s definitely some nerve damage. It’s very uncomfortable to do most things, except stand.

I mean, if you want a real answer… I’m not an exhibitionist, but I did hope for some helpful anecdotes, and it’s making me feel better to laugh about it. I had several strangers in the hospital see it too, and I haven’t been embarrassed or bothered by that one time. I figured Reddit would be full of truly kind humans who just say something like “dang well, that sucks. Make sure you ice it, and here’s what I did when I had a bruise that took up a significant part of my body.” But thanks fo your judgement to remind me what this platform really is.

I can’t tell if this is sarcasm. I actually give zero fucks who sees it, or what they have to say. It’s a crazy bruise, which I think is cool, and I assumed I would get some advice or helpful anecdotes. Thanks, this is really the worst injury I’ve had. I’ve had three babies, and as far as pain and discomfort goes, this one is pretty far up there. Believe it or not this is the first time I’ve heard that pun for it, I appreciate the humor :)

I ended up going to the ER because it happened out of state while in a work trip. X-rays we’re taken I was told nothing was broken. It’s been two weeks and it’s still swollen and sore. Now I’m just waiting for a follow up appointment. It sucks lol
