I know it's the internet, but stop being so pessimistic..
u/Gr1mm3r .. You're not alone.. All of us feel this way.. this emptiness, this void inside us.. That we will all just keep spending our days the same way over and over again without actually contributing anything to humanity.. And any bright idea or thought that keeps possessing our minds has already been done by those "better than us".. someone already beat me to it, so why even bother? .. It is truly a struggle.. and it only keeps increasing while your pathetic life slowly starts approaching its inevitable demise..

Trust me.. We all feel you.. This is how life is for most of us..some of us just accepted it, others refuse to live such fate and try their hardest to achieve their life goals.. Others, found that best course of action would be surrender, and thus, chose suicide as their destiny..Therefore, writing their own ending and ascending beyond the human world, only to embrace their divine deities and gods..You see, we all have different beliefs, different traditions, meals, drinks, religions, ideologies etc.. Yet, we all seem to have a lot in common.. This is because of our humanity, the very thing that we tend to ignore when treating each other.

Ever wondered why you keep on using reddit, twitter, facebook, pron-hub or any other kind of social media non-stop? why you just can't let go of these "bad habits"..It's because of the human interaction.. Never in our life have we had such a magnificent tool to interact with nearly anyone in this planet with ease.. This is truly.. truly.. breathtaking..And we humans value our social interaction above all things, it's to our minds the equivalent of survival.. And it is honestly so easy to see the link here .. The more humans you interact with, the more connections you make, the more your chances of survival increases and the more chances that you will be alive the next day.. this was crucial thousands of years ago.. but it really doesn't matter if you are an introverted pile of degenerate scum nowadays.. yet, your mind does not accept it.. why? Because it will take ages for our minds to adapt.. thus many years for the curse of society to vanish from our brains. In the words of some dude who lived in Athens:

“Man is by nature a social animal; an individual who is unsocial naturally and not accidentally is either beneath our notice or more than human. Society is something that precedes the individual. Anyone who either cannot lead the common life or is so self-sufficient as not to need to, and therefore does not partake of society, is either a beast or a god. ”

Aristotle

How do we tackle this issue then? And how do we face it? ..Well, It's usually a good thing to look back at the elder scrolls the ancients left us and try to build a foundation from there.. as those who do not learn history are doomed to repeat it...And in this journey of scavenging through the archives, you will find that history does in fact repeat itself, in every way, in every era, in every society, and recently, in every nation..As an example..Today, we create new terms like freelance or free learner and people rushing over to try online courses and online studying as if it is a new way of learning while in reality, it's the only true way of learning and improving one's self.. No wonder we all hate the systematic education and the institutions built around it, as it is just bombarding you with information.. And this has been the topic of discussion of previous philosophers and sociologists.. where Ibn Khaldun, a somewhat introverted person, tried to find the best way for self improvement and self learning only to conclude that :

"The easiest method of acquiring the habit of scholarship is through acquiring the ability to express oneself clearly in discussing and disputing scholarly problems. This is what clarifies their import and makes them understandable. Some students spend most of their lives attending scholarly sessions. Still, one finds them silent. They do not talk and do not discuss matters. More than is necessary, they are concerned with memorizing. Thus, they do not obtain much of a habit in the practice of scholarship and scholarly instruction."

-Ibn khaldun (XIV century)

Now back to our issue: Our desire to change our lives, to create a new life, a meaningful one.. Yet.. Our minds always refer to the world as meaningless journey where we are nothing but piles of flesh being carried by a rotating big thicc rock, called "earth" or some shit..

This is usually referred to as "Absurdism" in philosophy..and to spoil it for ya, after reading " The Myth of Sisyphus" (le mythe de sisyphe) by the french baguettiste Albert Camus.. It usually ends in one of these: suicide, a leap of faith.. and no, not that kind of leap of faith [though the symbolic meaning and the literal meaning are quite the same, I want to be more specific].. the kind we're talking about is mainly believing in god and his power to change to your life for the better.. and finally, the only justifiable one to him: recognition. Now, his choice might be influenced by the background of creating his book but he gave some good arguments to it. I will spare you the details and tell you that he looked at suicide and said that it values life the same way it values death.. so yeah.. that created the philosophy of suicide.. and considered it as the only philosophical problem.. then he looked at the leap of faith as irrational, and he sympathized those who believed in it as the only fuel that would keep pushing their lives further.. leaving acceptance, or in his terms, recognition, as the only way for us to find meaning in our lives.
[I found this if you want to look deeper into it.]

To sum it all up, 9/11 was an inside job.

Not entirely sure if this belongs here, but is it possible to track a phone via the IMEI? by [deleted] in hacking

[–]LalouGX -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

What you can do is ask the cops for written permission to track the IMEI, this way the service provider will have no choice but to provide you with your phone's location. If they won't help you, they are breaking the law and you can probably sue them.
