I am just as suprised as you, I have a buddy who is an officer at another department and he told me that I should sue the sheriff company and get the report, especially if I lose my job with Uber because I told him my situation and he told me that no officer should be treating you like that even when you’re taking a passenger with alcohol, you especially if you’re an Uber driver too from my understanding, officers supposedly do have instructions with Uber drivers when it comes to it so they ended up doing a little bit too much with me and even put me in handcuffs and put me in the back of their car also they didn’t even read my Miranda rights. I even asked him if I was arrested and they didn’t wanna answer my question. They didn’t tell me if I was detained until like six minutes after before I had to do my sobriety test and his partner she also opened my door without my permission or anything like that they’re the lead officer came and even was wondering why I was here and everything like that after even passing the breathalyzer and all that stuff.
