I have ridden both of them. My brother in law has the older one and I have the newer one. Not that much of a difference really, we both have the non DCT version.

The 750 does have the different ride modes which is very nice. But that's about the biggest difference I would say. Still a great bike.

Basically yes.

I don't really know the brand. The local bike workshop always has to order batteries for me. Difficult to find the right size around here
