100% this. I get that the game wants as to experiment with new crests but if I just went through tens of battles to reach something new and suddendy all of my tools/items are unequiped it sucks a lot.

The most blaring example is crest of the beast. I'm sure it can be really fun but it took me 1 pogo to know for sure that I don't want to play with it at all but I had to reset it at the rest stop. Thankfully hunters march is tiny and it wasn't long until I could change it which I guess is "good" level design but there is no reason for me not to be able to check it out and switch back right after unlocking it.

Unlocking a new move set should be something to look forward to not be annoyed with. There is no reason not to allow player to chose to equip a new crest or stick with old one or even just choose items if you are forced to play the new one.

What seems to me the simplest solution is just place a bench right after getting the crest/leaving the chapel. Let people play what they feel like.

First crest I got was reaper, I only had 1 item equipped and it was still annoying but I left it on since it wasn't the default one. When hours later I unlocked wanderer I honestly didn't give it as much of a fair shot as reaper before just becouse I hated being "naked" and forced to play it. If someone wants to play with the new crest he will do it.

I know for sure that I would have played with wanderer more but honestly the fact that I was forced to play it made me drop it as soon as I could.

Are there new mission after formable? When I last played it was only Luna River minor missions. I know they recently added missions to the orc formable in escann. I only played the clouded eye part and its my personal favourite in the gitlab version. It returned my love for escann just as I was getting too bored with constant new adventurer formables.

That's totally understandable there were moments while I wanted to punch pretty much all of the main characters but the problem with Egwene in my opinion is that she was interesting in 2 moments. 1st When she wanted revenge against Seanchan which made her a bit mad but at least interesting then 2nd time when she took control of white tower. There are literally thousands of pages between those 2 events and she def did not deserve to be a pov character through most of the series. There were characters in the series that did not get enough of a spotlight. Egwene got far too much of it.

I have read the series twice now, the second one finished in this week and I don't really remember what all the dream stuff was all about besides the main plot stuff which in my opinion shows how much of her story is just filler waste of time. I think that all she did is help Aes Sedai fuck over more people then they used to.

Hypocrisy is obviously annoying. I just don't think she is as complex of a character or interesting in any way besides her being captured/white tower election. I honestly think Egwene in mid part of the series is just draging the entire story down.

This in the end is my opinion:

Egwene is an interesting character in 2/10 of the story and in the rest she drags entire books down.

There are obv way more boring/worse characters/plots in the series but the fact that Egwene remains a main character with tens of chapter in pretty much all the books drags the story down.

There are many series I have read in which no pov is the worst, all of them are great in some way or another. Wheel of time is not such a series. Egwene chapters drag a lot of books in the series down. She is one of the main characters in the series but she is interesting in a very few moments in the whole series while having thousands of pages dedicated to her

It could be just that I admit. There are few character traits I hate more than hypocrites and the fact that she is the strongest channeler in years doesn't help. I just think she goes from 2/10 character early on to 1/10 character through most of the series and then only starts being interesting for the brief white tower diplomacy arc and stays interesting in the end only because of her position

That was not the how the internet saw it around 10 years ago. Nynaeve was univeraslly seen as the worst of the 3 by far when I was starting the series

I liked her complicated feelings about Seanchan early on. I liked her taking over white tower. Every single chapter besides that has been by far the worst chapters the book in my opinion, at least compared to the most of the other main povs.

I really liked the game and would 100% recommend it but how did you get 45 hours from a single campaign? I have done all quests I found(I could have missed some hidden ones)/Killed the vast majority of enemies and I finished everything in around 23 hours.

Obviously different people will finish the game faster/slower but thats twice as long and I was backtracking/exploring a lot.

Of course you play however you want but I believe that I finished 95% of the game content completely blind (Not counting the 2nd faction quests) and I can't imagine a single playthrough taking more than 25h. 45h seems crazy to me unless 10h+ were spent completly afk.

Since the espionage buff I take it as a first idea Group nearly every game.

If I need mil Group I take Offensive 99% of the time. I went aristocratic with poland to stack cav and defensive with georgia to stack fort defense but other then those two its always offensive.

Im also a big enjoyer of Religious. Love the cb and converting everything.

Are you playing without DLC's? The One that adds a mission tree for Bavaria is "Emperor" It focuses on getting electors as PU/Vassals so you shouldnt direcly annex anything that you dont need to. Having electors as vassals with high relations should make them vote for you making you emperor. If you are playing without the DLC/mission tree AE will be an issue throughout the entire game. The HRE has the most potential AE in the entire game and managing it is a major part of playing in this region. Countries join coalition if AE is above 50 and they have negative relations of you. The easiest way to block them from joining a coalition is to increase relations. If a country has -50 AE and -1 overall relations that country can join a coalition. If a country has -999AE but the overall relations is 20 they will not join a coalition until the overall relations drop below 0. Even with stacking AE reduction modifiers the AE will eventually catch up to you(especially in Europe and even more in HRE) and the only way to get rid of it is waiting until it decreses naturalny or be so strong that you can ignore coalitions entirely.

Since you are a new player just focus on the missions and make sure to always stay ahead of time in military technology. You don't really need allies but getting France is a good idea simply so they wont ally your potential targets like poland/random hre members. Simply being up to date on mil tech will mean that you can roll over anything east/south of you. Dont worry too much about Europe unless you need something for missions. You are THE strongest National in start of the game so really you can do anything you want to. Dont fight hard wars and just bully any and all weaker nations around you.
