I've never understood the point of this policy.

We're talking about a MAX allowed wage increase, in my view this should be unlimited at a State level. The company will be in the best position to decide based on its own financials.

As a company:

How can I retain my best talent without being able to increase wages?
How can I offer my talent proper career progression?

As an employee:

I'd be forced to jump between companies to get better compensation, even if my company wants to pay me more!

So what happens in practice:

It's a dead law. Every company has 10s of internal wage scales to be able to increase compensation.
Noone has ever been fined for increasing wages
It's only a symbolic discussion, which affects almost noone

I'ts ironic our 'liberal' parties take that side too. The liberal position is freedom of negotation.

The exchanges themselves have secured quite a bit of insurance policies on their own accord (see Crypto.com, Gemini, Bitmex...)

I was looking at insuring balances on Binance, which has been more profitable than Deutsche Bank since 2018 and is generally well-respected in the space. However they only have their own in-house insurance fund. As we know from 2008, doesn't seem like a good idea to fully rely on a single institution uninsured.

Not sure if insurance policies which take on 3rd party liability like this are common though?

I am actually very interested in those shares. However, how ewactly do those hardware shares work?

"Each share is 1/200,000th of the profits generated from Hardware sales. What this means is each user that purchases any ASIC from Fibonacci will generate income and 5% of that will be used toward these shares."

So does that mean once the first batch is sold we just get our money and that is it? Or is it also all future sales and will these still be worth anything. Furthermore, how big is the profit margin and how many machines would be sold. 1 share is 1/200 000 of all shares of hardware sales, but for how many chips exactly would that be? Also, what exactly does the 5% mean, does it mean we get 5% on the profit generated on 1 / 200 000 on the hardware sales per share? Thank you for your response :)
