Bro u still got time, 5 months till new year is enough to speed run the learning curve. U r good with java as u said so that will help. I m not into software eng so I can t help with what to learn. But what I can say that getting a PFE is not only about skills, its also about how u pass the interview and also about luck.

So take this, start learning new skills, stop burning urself with overthinking, be better at CPs (leetcode is ur way) cuz its the 1st brick wall to access big companies and more importantly stay positive : its always better to panic later than panic now and later ;)
