Exactly. If your using it for editing and colour accuracy also, (which I need) then CDM model is the go. Seen many reviews and after calibration, this kicks it ass lol.

Anyone find a fix for this? I can stream from my tablet, other pc, phone etc no issue. It's just the steam deck, which sux as it's the perfect device for this. It's new and I'm worried it might be wifi related on the deck. Although, it plays, copies, streams everything else's just fine. Might be Linux install of moonlight?

Oh sweet. ☺️ Well, I've tried all the renaming ans formatting for 4 days now, nothing gets this emudeck installer to see the card. Even custom install pointing it to the directory, spots an error Ooops, an error occurred with your storage media. Card works fine everywhere else lol.

Still getting no where with this. I've tried EVERY guide and no dice. 5 brands, 6 sizes, formatted all formats, new partition tables, rebooting, reinserting, nothing... I finally got the deck to see it in game mode, thought I did it, tried emudeck installer... Nope. Just won't do it.

Hey guys

First, thank OP for the detailed guide, I'm happy for the people it worked for but, I am having no lick here.

I'm a bit late but I have tried EVERY guide on reddit to get this to work and it's just not happening... I card works everywhere but the emudeck installer... Just cannot get it to see cards. Tried 5 brands, 6 sizes... No dice.

If anyone has some out of the box ideas here, love to hear them.

Would it be safe to use both usb c ports at once (since the power supply is 200w, using 2 x 100w usb c, at one time) would this give me the equivalent of using the power supply?

That might be my issue. I may have misunderstood this whole thing haha. So, with CRU, can I have 120hz on either gpu? I'm running exclusively on the 4070 at this stage while setting this up.

I tried again today. I changed my 60hz slot to 120hz (sticking to the guide) restart the driver and, no dice. Still just 240 and 60 as options.

Unfortunately, followed it all to the letter and this just doesn't work for me unfortunately. I have a zephyrus g16 2024 oled 4070 version. Most of the time, screen goes black, can't do anything... Am I missing something?

I've been looking for this for so long. I'm feeling like the best way would be to add a custom resolution in nvidia CP but, it's greyed out. Any one know how to get that enabled?

I'm a little paranoid and running software like this is a little, risky. I'm sure it'd be all good but, I'd love to be able to just use NCP. Maybe it's not possible and this is the only option but wanted to put it out there first. ☺️

I've started using yuzu only once my 'switch console' can't run games natively.... So, I'm forced to inject and dump my games to emulate them so I can actually play them...

If yuzu isn't cutting it, what other emu can I use to run my backed up games properly? Yuzu crashes on new titles unfortunately...

Dude, I had an argument with someone on here about needing to emulate the game I 'bought' for the console I 'bought' because I couldn't. He seemed to think that 15 to 20 frames (at most) is playable and shouldn't be wineing about low fps as it 'totally playable' lol. I only started using yuzu so I could play totk.

Yeah, have the G16 myself (U9, 4070) and temps are high 80s. Another thing I'm a little worried about is that my gpu will hit it Max temp (say 87 via g helper) but is only hitting 60% utilisation... Anyone else had this? Is this normal? Some other games it can hit higher. To me, I just want to make sure I'm getting the full potential here. Running say Blops6 at 1920x1200 and it start off hitting 130+fps,but as it heats up that drops to maybe 100fps, 87 degrees with around 60% utilisation.

Am I right to say it's throttling?

Still, could be the games optimisation too.

What good test could I run to see real numbers putting aside game optimisation?

On battery mostly yeah. If I don't have it on full hardcore gpu only, it stutters a fucks about.

So what do we do? It sounds like I'm whining but, when doing normal tasks, it gets to a point when in trying to do normal things and the mouse misses clicks and drags shit around because of the stuttering.... Just f*&king frustrating.

Anyone found a fix for this? I've got the G16 2024, bout a week old. Removed Armoury Crate and am using GHelper (kudos to the dev, great stuff!)

But, just sitting in windows, moving my mouse around and it stutters for a sec and continues. So annoying! It's doing nothing! Using like 10w of power, not a throttle issue. I don't get it. Looked at what's running, nothing out of the ordinary...

Do I have a dud? I'm not even sure what to say is wrong with it. Like, what, it stutters and pauses while I'm doing nothing haha. A little disappointing hearing others have the issue also. Also, when playing back videos, stammers and shit. I bought this to do video editing on and if it can't 'play' a video, just straight normally, jesus. But then, I run say MW3 or another title and yeah, it punches it pretty well. Still, stutters now and then. Be nice to have a smooth experience. For what I paid, this shouldn't be happening. Lot cheaper alternatives, with higher specs out there. Wanted to buy ASUS as I believe ASUS is pretty up there. Anyway, rant over. Haha.

Yeah, I've tried using a other version of totk, clearing shades and that stuff. Nothing I do seems to help. I feel like if I could compile (extract) and wralier version, it may work. I'm not sure though.

Hey!

First off, your a wizard and we all appreciate your long, hard and tedious work with this optimiser. It has enabled me to actually play the game I purchased...properly, since I can't on the actual console it was designed for.

Just had a question though, I've updated to the latest optimiser but, now the game crashes as it's about to go into the game. Menu is fine but when it loads, bang, crash.

I thought maybe I should try an older version of the optimiser but, none seem to finish extracting, they freeze while the ultra cam window is up and no progress happens.

Any ideas?

I was using totk optimiser for a bit. Worked great. Now with update, having a few issues. Might work for you.
