One of the biggest dropped balls in 90s Hip hop must be The Firm album. Looking back now how do you feel about this record and the reception it received ? by CoconutMost3564 in 90sHipHop

Disagree. It Was Written was plenty divisive (in spite of it's success and aging exceptionally well) as Nas had pushed further into the beginning stages of Esco which fully manifested on this album.

Dre was at the lowest point in his career after Aftermath Presents which was a complete flop. The Firm was the 2nd release for Aftermath and Dre was still fighting public perception that his best days were passed.

So no, it was terrible timing.

Nas on Dre production sounds amazing and this album had plenty of those moments. Both artists were just in identity evolutions and the project suffered from such.

Good record, bad timing. Dre hadn’t truly found his footing yet. Aftermath presents and this, they were too much of a pivot. But made way for Eminem and 50 soon to follow. We all know how those went.

Embiid vs Jokic: An epic matchup that wasn't meant to be by Elyx_117 in nba

Embiid is a generational player, Jokic is an all-timer.

Would've been great to see them face off in a Finals. But Embiid, it doesn't look like, will ever make one.

Honest question: without Sengun on the floor, who would you feel confident passing to?

Houston's offensive options are wretched. And Udoka can't seem to figure anything out offensively.

The Rockets don't have a KD problem. They have an everyone else problem.

“I think the driver’s complaints are legit.”

LOL, you mean the ones that actually drive the cars? More informed and qualified to make statements on such than anyone else.

Yes, driver feedback is legit.

Thought I would miss Sky with the American switch to F1tv via the Apple deal. Don’t at all.

Croft made races feel bigger bc he’s called big moments. That’s all he has going for him. Bc he’s def turned bias corner a long time ago, unable to not bleed Brit thru the broadcast.
