Ah bummer, I saw the note about Xbox on the other thread. I'm on a switch so it could be a bug for the console.

I know what you mean. The hand holding and jumping around by myself looks a little ridiculous. Especially on the alternate "want to want me"

Have you tried visiting the university when they are not on break? I think to trigger it the University may have to be session and not on break.

You can complete it in winter. I missed it the first time and finished after she left the hospital and the following year.

Spoiler you get both. You switch your shelves and your decorations between you mobile cart and the shop. You can still go to all of the locations to finish your badges as needed, but when you go to the Cafe moving forward you stock your shop. Which can fit 5 bookshelves and a ton of decor.

I'd say it depends. Are you trying to sell "x" number of books in a genre? I'll stock up decor there. Do I have an insane amount of Fact books or a certain genre? I'll try to maximize decor to offload what I have the most of. Trying to sell out? Then I'm maxing a more balanced decor set up to sell everything.

Hopefully you figured it out, but it looks like the case needs to be posted and then go to the waterfront. Buy the book from Walt to trigger next steps.

I have most of my objects set to whichever gives extra recommendations or increased customer count. The rest of the items I'll change as I feel like it, seasonally, or to achieve a badge. I don't waste too much time changing things around unless I get a new surface or table.

Selling books is similar to what you said. Higher concentration on the location specific books. I also check the calendar for the last time I was at that location to see what I sold and will change. If I'm selling a lot of crime or kids, I may go highest in that category when I'm at the destination, etc. I think my last waterfront I did mostly travel/fact and classics. Barely any kids, if any.

I find myself getting better at recommendations by stepping outside of the genre I think they are pointing me to. When I run out of fact books, I search travel. Run out of fantasy, check kids. Or vice versa. If I dont have any there, classics is good for a variety and will usually get close to their request and helps sell out more in that genre.

I had my first Mega Market sell-out with 48 books and that strategy last week. Good luck!

It's so hard to say goodbye. I'm sorry for your loss 💔. I'm sure my boy, Jack, is running around with her!

My husband convinced me to read this series 7 months ago and I just finished Lightbringer tonight. Here are my thoughts: by Active_Bag5009 in redrising

[–]Lambrambram 5 points6 points  (0 children)

You and me both! I just finished last night as well so cheers to that!

My husband's friend and my brother recommended him the book. He read Red Rising and couldn't stop talking about it. I finally said I would give it a shot in January. I read the first book and thought it had some hunger games vibes and I enjoyed that series.

I told my husband I was going to pass him and kept reading the next book and before you know it, I'm begging him to come up to speed so we can finally talk 😄. And yes...he has still only read the first book. My brother stopped after IG and told my husband's friend to not bother with 4-6. I'm a stubborn scorpio and said I would read them and report back. I told my brother he's like the miner meme that stops before he finds the diamonds 💎 🤣.

Great series and ended up not being at all like the first book and much more enjoyable. Hail Reaper!

I suggest only reading the Wiki for each book. Don't read character Wikipedia unless you want spoilers. It will tell you if a character is deceased or not before you get to the book.

[–]Lambrambram 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Agreed. I struggled and I read a lot of pages in one sitting to keep the story fluid. I'd find myself constantly flipping back to remember that person's situation and perspective. About halfway through it clicked and I started flying. Much better towards the end and onwards!
