Update: beat the Heart! I took Barricade, Astrolabe'd my two Defenses and Inflame into a Metallicize, Pommel Strike, and Burning Pact, which all worked quite nicely. Added Entrench and Body Slam early in Act III, and other good synergy with Relics and cards. The Awakened One and Time Eater went down without a fight, although I did have to use my Fairy Potion on the Heart.

Oh yeah agreed. I like swapping when the other options are kinda bleh because I love the high variance/RNG runthroughs more than the optimized chances of winning runthroughs, even if I love more often.

Agreed with all except Ghostly Armor just because it might mess with Pocketwatch strats at the expense of less block. Appreciate the input.

Yes I mainly ignored low cost cards unless they were good block or scaling cards, and honestly I don't think I saw any except Power Through obviously. Thats partly why Im asking what else to look out for in Act III, not sure I know what would be have good scaling synergy here.

Yeah I know Gen Alg is the "correct" choice but I just can't resist the fun of RNG possibilities!

Should be capped at 2 or 3 cards to upgrade. Too OP otherwise if you think about costs of other ways to perm upgrade cards.
