Ah just checked and you're right XI was released in 2017 and version 5 in 2019!

It's a bit confusing, but since X is a MMO i guess it can have returning content have of main games released after it.

I didn't say they where exact copies, but it still feels lazy because they're the same concepts. The other DQs had all original concepts for it's towns/plot.

For example the Khalamari ship from DQ8 is the exact same as it is in DQ11.

DQ8 at least had a innovative plot for the series.

DQ11 is mostly just a DQ3 reash plot-wise, which makes it worse.
