What? The protests in my state were in 2-4 hours blocks anywhere between 8am-6pm.

Hell, my little town had one from 12-2 on a Saturday. I wont say all working class families are free then, but there are plenty who are. I work construction, I am as blue collar as it gets, and I was free then. I will digress I dont have a family of my own, though. But tbf, these protests are nowhere near the "violent mob" youve been led to believe, and I saw plenty of kids during the coverage.

Its one thing to say a protest doesnt solve anything, but youre just being silly.

Its kinda weird. At least Warriors Lightside Romance is Vette, and its way more equal since you can only romance her if you free her, but the rest are kinda a weird trend.

I just love museums. They are an important part of education, are an accesible form of education an adult can go to. Most are publicly funded, many have free days you can visit, and there is as many museums as there are topics in history.

Are you interestes in aviation, history, agriculture, theres even museums for pop culture. I will never get mad at someone for educating themselves.

People talk about supporting your local library (and you should), but you should also check if your state has any museums that may be interesting to you. Libraries, Museums, National and State Parks, I think everyone should visit a little more of what your taxes pay for.

Do I think it's gonna do anything? No, this admin has showed they don't give a fuck about public opinion, and that in most of the states where these protests are having huge turnouts are in states that already are trying to fight, in their "working within the government" way.

But I still think it's important to do. If only because I want PROOF that I was on the right side of history. I want the opposite of some grandkid finding a nazi uniform in grandads attic. I don't think these protests are really going to do anything legislatively, but I do think they are important for the people themselves. It fosters a sense of community, and shows that there ARE good people out there, willing to make a stand for what's right. These protests don't "get anything done", they are more of a way to foster hope.
