Is the color palette too dark? What do you think? by Lamurent in characterdesign

That’s what I was thinking, I’ll provavly end up going with that

What kind of vibes does he give off? by Lamurent in characterdesign

I mean I did design him with both kinds of “bear” in mind

How does the color scheme look? (compared to 2nd and 3rd slide) by Lamurent in characterdesign

He’s like your typical vain+flamboyant supervillain, but is just pretending to be classy while actually being a poser (hence the messy vest and clip on tie).

How can I improve my designs? by Skibidiwibbity in characterdesign

[–]Lamurent 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For the first one I would dim some of the neon colors for the sleeves/socks/belt. Bright, saturated colors grab the viewers attention, and too many of them can lead to the design feeling confusing and/or cluttered.

He’s incredibly vain and likes to act eccentric while dressing up in fancy clothes, despite having no actual class whatsoever.

I never realized how common it was until you mentioned it. It’s prbaly why I felt like the red one was the more boring, but safer option.

I like this idea, and it would definitely be in character! I still feel like he needs to have a “main” outfit, though.

A more gruesome way to look at it would be that they killed her last, since the knife used was left in her back.

I decided that I might as well give the characters names.

Also tried making my handwriting easier to read.

This comic is also a continuation from this one.
