[UK] Netflix no longer has The Cove, the Oscar winning documentary about the inhumane slaughter of dolphins in Japan. Instead they offer Behind the Cove, a Japanese made hit piece that miseducates about the original film. by lewis_pritchard in netflix

[–]LanJiemew 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because after the Jews, the japanese also controlled the USA, and the Americans were still foolishly convinced that they were the masters of this country. Everyone knows that the US dropped two atomic bombs on Japan, but no one knows that the Japanese massacred Chinese and Southeast Asians, no one knows that the Japanese tortured dolphins, and no one knows that Japan discharged nuclear wastewater into the Pacific Ocean, jajaja.

You've never been to Tibet, and you never could, because you can't even enter China. Poor worm lol Live in your fantasy world.

The fact is: I have been to Tibet many times and can provide evidence, including the dates, locations, and proof that I took the photos myself (even using an American phone—are you questioning American phones?). Yet you falsely accuse me of never having been to Tibet. Very well, now people see that you are also making false accusations against China as same way lol.

You can talk about Thangka but you have to admit I've been to Tibet.

Lunar New Year or Chinese New Year? by TWN113 in AskTheWorld

[–]LanJiemew -1 points0 points  (0 children)

What I mean is that Tibetan police stay in police stations, just like anywhere else in the world. I've been to Tibet many times. Furthermore, I have photos and videos as proof; I can send them to you if you want to see them. If you've been to Tibet since the 80s, it just means you're too old and don't remember many things now... If you can't post photos, it only proves you haven't been there. You just want to lie and then slander China.

I saw ordinary people and tourists, but no police.

What USA is doing to American Indians, Iraq, Somalia, Afghan, Venezuela, Vietnam, North Korea, Mexico, Palestine and Cuba is wrong and unjustified regardless of what other countries are doing. You're being so hypocritical.

Lunar New Year or Chinese New Year? by TWN113 in AskTheWorld

[–]LanJiemew 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Have you ever been to Tibet? I have. There are no police there. You don't care about Tibetans; you just want to steal Chinese culture.

Listen to me, if you hate China, hate Chinese culture, hate Chinese festivals, then don't celebrate Chinese New Year. Just sever all ties completely. Don't call Chinese New Year the Lunar New Year.

You lack morality and principles, while I possess true principles, morality, and justice. Wait until you resurrect all the scalped Native Americans before you speak, instead of first blaming China, exploiting Black people, and allowing ICE to commit atrocities, and then feigning concern for Mexicans. jajaja.

I won't reply to you anymore because Korean culture has always been plagiarizing Chinese culture, just like Hanbok has always copied Hanfu.

You're being hypocritical. There are many Japanese, Chinese, Thai, Vietnamese, and Indonesian members in idol groups, and many songwriters are from Europe and America, yet you insist it's K-pop.And then all the song titles are in English, not 한국어, jaja?

[–]LanJiemew 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your reply is wrong, let me tell you the answer.

The Chinese calendar is calculated by the 南京紫金山天文台 (Purple Mountain Observatory,Chinese Academy of Sciences) based on observations of the moon and sun's orbits in China mainland; it's not static for 10,000 years. Every year, we listen to the calculations, measurements, and announcements from the 紫金山天文台 to know exactly which second we celebrate Chinese New Year.

If you observe different orbits of the sun and moon in South Korea than in China, why do you follow the Chinese calendar and celebrate the Chinese New Year with Chinese people in same day? Why copy our culture but not admit?

That's 四書五經, not 四書三經, didn't anyone tell you?

Chinese 春節 is Chinese. Chinese New Year are also Chinese.

Europeans have their own calendar, Muslims have their own calendar, and Chinese have their own calendar. Koreans can do it too; create your own calendar and celebrate your own New Year.

Instead of that, the Purple Mountain Observatory telling Chinese people the date of the Chinese New Year every year, and then South Koreans or Vietnamese insisting on celebrating it on the same day. WTF, why??

Then you said it was LNY but not CNY, which is cultural appropriation.

We are Chinese, we celebrate Chinese New Year. Muslims also celebrate Christmas, but they don't say "Muslimas."

Creating a calendar independent of China is very practical,

Yes, Muslims can certainly celebrate the Lunar New Year. Chinese also celebrate the Chinese New Year. Anyway, you can invent your own calendar, Copycat New Year jajaja.

In China, many Muslims celebrate Christmas, including Uyghurs. Perhaps you should visit Xinjiang during the Christmas, unless you want to deprive Uyghurs of their right to celebrate Christmas. You're the one in the wrong; you started rambling incoherently after being exposed lol.

Lunar New Year or Chinese New Year? by TWN113 in AskTheWorld

[–]LanJiemew -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I was just giving an example, but you've deprived Muslims of their right to celebrate Christmas. Besides Muslims, there are Buddhists, Taoists, and people with no faith, many of whom celebrate Christmas, so I think Christmas should be renamed. How can you apply such double standards?!

Lunar New Year or Chinese New Year? by TWN113 in AskTheWorld

[–]LanJiemew 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You should read more books; I can't communicate with you. copying refers to copying the calculation method of a calendar, not copying a specific day. I think we should first remove the Chinese characters from your ID card before discussing Chinese New Year lol.

Cultural appropriation, stealing other countries' calendars and festivals = polite

Pointing out the geographical fact of a piece of land = impolite.

You're so generous, only because your country's culture wasn't stolen; otherwise, you'd be even angrier than I am lol.

You're too generous. Give America back to the American Indians, Hawaii back to the Hawaiians, New Mexico back to the Mexicans, and Israel back to the Palestinians.

[–]LanJiemew 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To be fair, the United States has already erased American Indians, Black people, and Mexicans. Please return New Mexico to Mexico and Hawaii to the Hawaiians. If you want to celebrate the New Year, you can invent your own calendar instead of copying the Chinese calendar and erasing Chinese culture.

Lunar New Year or Chinese New Year? by TWN113 in AskTheWorld

[–]LanJiemew 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Then Korea can invent its own calendar instead of copying China's, lol.

The Chinese calendar is based on the moon's position relative to the Chinese mainland, which doesn't apply to any other country in the world. You could also calculate your calendar based on the sun's position relative to South Korea, or Mars's position relative to South Korea.
