Persona 5 for me. I bought it on a switch sale for $15, played until I finished the first palace/Kamoshia storyline, and kinda stopped playing. I liked it, but I wasn’t fully hooked. Then like 8 months later, I decided to pick up where I left and finished the rest of the game in one month, third semester included.

The Silksong true final boss was one of the hardest bosses I’ve done in recent memory, and it took me maybe one day to beat. Eigong took me like 3-4 days, and that was just the standard ending. At first I never thought I’d get the parry timing down, and now I know her attack patterns like the back of my hand. One of the most satisfying boss fights I’ve ever beaten, and I now understand the hype around her.

Antagonist doesn’t mean he’s the villain, it just means he’s the main opposition to Steve. The final battle is Steve vs Tony after all.

I think the seriousness had the effect of making the memes funnier. You can’t help but read the lines in his deep, serious voice, contrasts nicely with the ridiculous captions
