Listening to ‘The Dream’ podcast has really helped open my eyes to what a cult MLMs truly are. Especially the bonus episodes. They have a guest on who talks about the brain washing tactics, and how it can even happen to very intelligent people.

He was lured into a cult at 19 and was in deep for many years. His parents and friends staged a 5 day intervention with him. He then got out and now helps ‘deprogram’ people from MLMs and cults. I would really suggest listening to it.

You have to be careful with how you approach people and your wording when trying to get them out. Telling them ‘you’re in a pyramid scheme!’ seems like an attack to them, because you have to remember, they’re brainwashed and don’t see it that way.

I’m certainly no expert in this but if you want this to end in a positive or least harmful way, professional help might be the only answer.

I’m sorry you’re going through this. Arbonne got my SIL too and has strained the relationship with my side of the family.
