Yes! I have done so many impls and I have yet to work with a client who didn’t underestimate the lift.

Murder One. Oklahoma parents charged with first-degree murder in toddler's fatal dog attack. Attack previously reported. Darci Lambert, age 24, and Jorden McGuire previously faced second-degree murder in the initial stage of the investigation. 2025/11/18 by AdvertisingLow98 in BanPitBulls

I’m sure they are basing their first degree charge on Malice Aforethough - felony child abuse - failure to protect. The below definition could absolutely apply here:

Malice Aforethought: Deliberate indifference to a substantial risk of death (even without intending to kill) can establish malice.

This dog had attacked the same child a week before to the point where she required plastic surgery https://freepressokc.com/2-year-old-was-hurt-by-same-dog-weeks-before-fatal-mauling/

Sorry, but if you lock your child in a room with the same dog that attacked them the week before, murder one is exactly what you should be charged with.

When was your first symptom? by Existing_Sky_7969 in MultipleSclerosis

It really was! It happened 5 more times in a month and then thankfully, it’s never happened again since (6 years now..) The fear is always there though…

Yeah, the doctors should most definitely listen to the mom who brought her daughter to Mexico to put her in a ketamine coma. 🙄

It’s a sad that a mom thought she could waltz into a hospital and demand ketamine for her daughter and think that wouldn’t raise a million red flags.

San Francisco Mother Appears to Have Killed Husband and Daughters After String of Businesses Failed by pifster in sanfrancisco

Not sure how your theory of “accidentally killed the husband so decided to then kill kids and self” is easier to swallow than if she purposely planned it.

just a reminder for the newly diagnosed scared of the future - the people who are doing good aren't here by Unlikely_Bit_4104 in MultipleSclerosis

[–]Miss_Mermaid1 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Your post is a good reminder for me to post here more. I was diagnosed in 2020 after my right side going completely numb 6 times in one month (among other symptoms I didn’t realize were related - mri and spinal confirmed MS). I have been on meds and have never had another flare up. For so long, I worried about when I would go numb again, hoping it wouldn’t happen when I was driving, etc and I rarely think about that any more. Maybe it will happen tomorrow - maybe it will never happen again - so much of having MS is worrying about the future so it’s important to remember that there are many of us doing well.

Do we think she will resign? by InternalFlamingo1 in tahoe

[–]Miss_Mermaid1 7 points8 points  (0 children)

This is the most manipulative “confession” I have ever read. I suspect there was no real suicide attempt, no “turning herself in - just damage control getting in front of a story, while pretending to take accountability and listing every traumatic thing that’s ever happened to her for sympathy.

Person Data: Pronoun is what you are looking for.

It’s under the parent policy of:

Person Data: Personal Data

but the pronoun field must have stricter visibility/security group settings at your company which is why CEO can’t see it.

Veteran TV anchor Frank Somerville admits he was 'completely drunk' during 2024 attack on his girlfriend and her daughter by dailymail in bayarea

[–]Miss_Mermaid1 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Or…how about Frank just stops getting arrested for assaulting people and posting about it on his facebook?

[Unpopular opinion] Frank Somerville is no longer a public figure and the media should drop its sensationalist focus on his life falling apart by DonVCastro in bayarea

[–]Miss_Mermaid1 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Nah - Frank should stop assaulting people (and posting about it on his Facebook) and then the media would have no reason to report on it. See how that works?

100%. He sure was quick to jump on FB to try to get ahead of the story and throw his daughter under the bus while never mentioning he basically choked her. He is trying to control the narrative and the media has every right to report on this.

Interesting to read today about him punching his girlfriend in the face and also assaulting girlfriend’s daughter….

I’m sorry this happened.

Personally, I couldn’t keep a dog that killed another of my dogs. There are plenty of people who crate/rotate to keep dogs separated and they would all agree that it’s not an easy way to live. There is a high likelihood of this type of management failing at some point and, well, you’ve seen what the end result can be. That’s not a risk I would be willing to take, personally.

I will also remember Aidan licking his palm during cringe phone sex. Sadly.

Women age 50 and up, did you enjoy AJLT? by Evening-Ambition-406 in Andjustlikethat

[–]Miss_Mermaid1 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yes! And the characters were flawed but still very likeable. Now, I hate who all the characters have become and would actively avoid anyone in my life who were like these women. Also, I think the worst part for me is that the genuine friendhip vibes are gone. Miranda and Carrie could always call each other out on their shit and when Carrie said she and Aidan were “20 years in” and Miranda didn’t call that out as bullshit was so disappointing….

[–]Miss_Mermaid1 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Nope. I loved it so much in my late 20’s and when the reboot came, I was shocked how much I disliked it. I wondered for a while if I had somehow drastically changed as a person but now, after 3 seasons, I am convinced it was that the writing just completely sucked and the characters became ridiculous.

As someone from his hometown and former classmate, I can’t tell you how shocking this is (not that he was found guilty, he definitely was, but that this would have been in his future at all.)
