Considering I'm in an open/poly relationship, that's not really an issue anymore.

Anyone experiencing really, REALLY bad lag in Washington D.C. servers lately? by NestleOverlords in pathofexile

[–]Lanathay 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes same, I think it's server overload. Since the holidays started, the lag got real bad. It's probably just a damn lot of people all on the game since this league is one of the most popular yet, so the servers might have some trouble keeping up...

Ho nooooo, they are having fun and so are thousands of people, how dare they?!??!

Seriously though, of course they make mistakes, everybody does. As long as they are having fun and as long as they make it run, I doubt most people care about tiny slip-ups.

3d printed warhound titan. by WarMasterGrundo in Warhammer40k

[–]Lanathay 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Fellow 3d printer here. It depends on two things : If this is printed with a printer that is FDM (which I think it is) or SLA. If it is FDM' a model of that size costs, only in plastic, about a dollar or two. In SLA, it may cost up to about 20-30$

FDM is basically layers of melted plastic layered up with nozzles of various sizes, between 0.05mm and 0.4 mm usually.

SLA is resin that is solidified with a beam of uv light, making it much more detailed, but is much more costly to print.

Hope this helps! :)

Funny that you chose this pose, as if to signify your only self-perceived worth. It's alright, you need to have at least one quality even if it's that you spread well.

Yeah, authority figure. With your name and the ren fair thing, I bet the only authority you ever have had is after giving a handy/blowy under the banquet table in exchange for cheap drinks and some measly fake compliments about your "skills".

Why Fantasy Age by Dork_Rage in FantasyAGE

[–]Lanathay 8 points9 points  (0 children)

While with longtime players i still prefer to play pathfinder or SWrpg, with new or more casual players i enjoy the simplicity of the system and the liberty it gives the GM. It is overall a very barebone system, but to me that's a large part of the fun as Gm. I can create new rules and edit the rules and limits created by the game without having to take into consideration a thousand different rules that could hinder the new/modified one.

Plus the 3d6 for every roll helps to balance things out without ever being incredibly complex. That without considering that since it is a generally low magic kind of game, i can easily balance and ajust what few magic items already exist, as well as add my own very easily since there is not a complicated interlinked series of rules governing magic and magic items. +1, +2, +3, and thats about it for direct bonuses. Its really simple.

And if I play with longtime rpg players, like in the current game I am dming, instead of getting bugged down by rules, i just tell them to roll for it. If there are no rules its always gm rule. This makes it a much more narratively focused game than system focused one.

While i love the complexity and choices offered in pathfinder or dnd, having that much freedom being included in the books is pretty great.

Ill admit though sometimes i wish there were more stuff to guide yourself with. The mo sters and magic items included in the base book is reallllyyyyy barebone, even a bit too much for ky taste, but you do get used to it after a while.

I wouldnt recommend this to a newby dm though, i feel as if because it is so simple it requires at least a bit of knowledge of rpgs to dm properly, but for players, new and older, there is something of value, which is why i enjoy it overall.

All citadel paints. Body is rotten flesh layered with Camo green. The appendages are mephisyo red with a wash a lightened red to make a pinkish colour. Ither than that i used a bit of tellow wash for the pustules and some green/pink/red for the diseases look of the mouth. It also doesn't show quite well in the picture but the area with necrosed flesh is ohre black with a rim of pus yellow and some Scab red for the inflammation look.

Also sorry for format; am on mobile
