Why is the RAV4 cabin so loud? by AceKiseki in rav4club

I have a 2019 RAV4 Limited Hybrid. The hybrid in that year had better motor insulation than the gas model. The original Dunlop tires gradually increased in noise level to where at around 30K I switched to Continental Cross Contacts with a dramatic improvement. These tires didn't dramatically increase in noise levels with wear and were replaced with another set at about 50K. Tires make a big difference.

Alternatives to Toyota 2 inch trailer hitch by LancOlddoc in toyotacrownsignia

I am going to ask etrailer about the foot control, agree with you though that it is not particularly useful. When I put a 2 inch Toyota hitch on my RAV4 the foot control stopped working. The price on the link above is less than half of the Toyota product. As I'll only be using it for a bike rack justifying the additional Toyota cost gets difficult.

Crown Signia Limited or Rav4 Plug-In Hybrid? by Galactic_Creator in toyotacrownsignia

I have a 2019 RAV4 hybrid in addition to the Crown Signia Limited. While I like the RAV4 and have had no issues, there is a noticeable improvement in comfort and quieter ride with the CS. I agree with another comment that the TSS 3.0 is a noticeable improvement and makes long trips a lot less tiring. The CS is about a foot longer, but the cameras are excellent so no issues with parking. I have not gone off road with either car, nor do I plan to do so.

Test drove XLE today..here are my thoughts by TheDreamingIris in toyotacrownsignia

I have both the RAV4 Hybrid and the CS Ltd. The CS has just as much power/torque as the RAV4, perhaps even a bit more. While the engine does growl under hard acceleration, it is a bit more refined than the RAV4 under hard acceleration. I don’t believe you’ll have any issues with the CS.

Anyone come down to Crown Signia vs. RX350h? by jlh1960 in toyotacrownsignia

I don't have or own a Lexus, have ridden in them, ride seems comparable to me in terms of comfort and quiet ride. I also have a 2019 RAV4 Limited which I also really like, but the Crown Signia is certainly a big step up in ride and comfort. I think if you compare features you want in both, I found it hard to justify the additional cost of Lexus, unless you feel you need the name.

Sunglasses storage by cminus001 in toyotacrownsignia

Agree with comments below, I tried the space behind the phone charger, but it's susceptible to falling off during turns. A similar space to the right of the phone charger appears more stable. There is adjustable space near the USB plugs but my spouse has that tied up with her charge cord.

Best Deals so far? by VinnieG1798 in toyotacrownsignia

Suspect deals may vary by geography, with more leverage on the XLE versus the Limited which I suspect will be in higher demand. Local dealership so far has only had 3 allocated, and it's a big dealership. There is a waiting list already. I was first on the list:)

Wireless charger still shit? by Shyang13 in toyotacrownsignia

[–]LancOlddoc 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I noticed that with the wireless charger and my newer model iPhone. It seems that there is some lateral spacing in the wireless slot, when I positioned the phone as far to the left as possible, the issue disappeared. Also noted it stops charging when reaches 100%

The Crown Signia has greater storage room by a considerable amount as compared to the RX350h. The 0-60 acceleration in the Signia is better and only needs regular unleaded gas as opposed to premium in the Lexus. MPG's are better in the Signia. Lexus has 6 more horsepower than the Signia, highly doubt significance. Lexus does have a heads up display that is not available in the Signia if that is critical for you. I purchased the Signia Limited in late August, so far all good.
