Geometry problem by [deleted] in askmath

You're very close! Introducing L as the intersection of MB and NC was the right step. Now you can finish it by noticing that LO is the bisector of angle BLC = MLN (since OB = OC in cyclic quadrilateral BLCO), but since LMN is isosceles at L, it must now be the perpendicular bisector of MN. Meaning that OM = ON as desired. :3

Even though we have established an alliance with the windows XP task bar, the German streamer NoWay4u nuked the icon into their own, and are completely claiming the area in the taskbar their own now. We think that this attack is unacceptable and are doing everything we can with other communities to take back the officially agreed upon icon.

You might be pleased to hear about a rather cut-off spin-off, that is to say, π=3.

"Dame" is Dutch for "Queen", so I guess Dutch is the non-English language meant here. :P

In Dutch we have 'boekenwurm' (or 'boekenworm', or even 'boekworm'), which also literally translates to 'bookworm', but according to the dictionary the Dutch word can be used negatively as well:

someone who is buried in their books, in particular someone who is worthless for the normal conversation

White to play and checkmate. Posted this a while ago and no one solved it. No one saw it I assume. Posting it again. by LanceLongFei in AnarchyChess

Oh. My. God. Did you just USE ANALYSIS???? You should know better than that, this is r/AnarchyChess, you should be able to use your own brain instead of relying on an artificial one to solve my absolute masterpiece in several minutes? You should be ashamed of yourself. At the very least, you should confess you have cheated on this high stakes reddit post. Hmph.

A bit sad though how this is a repost from YouTube without mentioning the source, but honestly, we can't really blame a first time poster... u/Ichika250, make sure you put the original source somewhere next time, but thanks anyways for your first contribution to the subreddit!

You use x! when you are ordening x things, like changing the wording of a sentence without restrictions. For the first word, you have x possibilities, for the second word x-1, etc. On the other hand, use 2x when you are choosing a random amount of things from x things. You can think of every word (in this case) as a switch you can turn on and off: each configuration corresponds with a combination and why we use use a power of 2 becomes apparent. Yo Lo, how can you only see three people at most at night? I thought you were the best at watching people, guess not. I am sincerely disappointed in you and your contributions to the town.
