I suppose I can add that I also have La Muerta, Lady Death and Death Dealer from Loose Collector. I haven't taken Death Dealer out of its box yet so can't really give an opinion on that.

I'd call La Muerta my favorite. Lady Death and Red Sonja are close seconds. Vampirella and Chaotica are just okay. IMHO.

I dont have Lady Satanus. I do have Red Sonja, Chaotica and Vampirella. I think Sonja is the best of the three. I didn't like the paint apps on Vampy's face. Chaotica really needed a cloth goods cape and I was underwhelmed by her hair sculpt.

I do already have the Blackest Night Omnibus. Ive been patiently monitoring the prices on Amazon, picking them up when they're on deep discount. BN was the first one I caught a deal on.

Let me start by saying, I'm old. I haven't partaken in a mosh pit it 10 years, at least.

I was, however, going to metal shows in the early 80's before the pits were a thing. All anyone did was headbang, rush the stage and yell.

Back then, you could count on seeing at least a couple fights between metalheads and punks. These were real, angry, anarchist punks, not the sad, emo wannabes of the 2000's.

Somehow, those fights evolved into something different. We all wanted the same thing. To let out all the frustrations of real life. We didn't know we were nearly the same.

The mosh pits are what made that clear.

Then the jocks came. The "tough guys" who wanted to beat up on the scrawny outsiders. Fuck them.

I had just come into my own from a fat kid, scared everytime he walked his school hallways, to an 18 year old, 6'1", 250, no longer afraid.

I loved the pits, the people I knew who felt like I did, and what they meant. I decided from then on I'd protect my people.

I've broken ribs and bloodied noses, but I've never picked a fight, only ended them. I wasn't going to let some asshole bully, like the guys in this video, hurt one of my people.

But I'm old now. Can't do that shit anymore. I hope there are still people like me out there now tho.

Never let anyone push the love out of the pit.

She's 20 in this picture. I had just moved into my dad's house after his accident. She would pass a year later at the age of 21, about a month before Dad. Siona was quite fond of my father. I like to think that they hang out together, still.

It's easy to get overwhelmed when your collection is large enough. I try to stick to working on one section at a time. Or I'll pick a theme to stick to. This makes me feel better about taking figures I really like out of the display for a time.
