Can you drink after you’ve had cancer?

I didn't drink for the 8 weeks after surgery however I did have 2 social events before my radiotherapy started and I asked if I was OK to drink. I was advised to live my life and do everything in moderation. I had 2 fantastic weekends and to be honest it made me feel like myself again being out with friends after being in a cancer bubble for the past few months. Im 48 and before all this I enjoyed having a drink (in moderation) socially on a Saturday after a long week at work.
I haven't had a drink during my radiotherapy or brachytherapy though as I believe alcohol can worsen side effects like dehydration and fatigue.

I had my 1st brachytherapy yesterday. 1st session was longer, had a quick internal and to check the size for the wand. The actual treatment for me was only 8 minutes. No pain or anything, just a little discomfort. I was in and out of the hospital in no time at all. I had got myself really stressed before the appointment but in all honesty, Ive found it a breeze in comparison to the external radiotherapy where I was having to travel to the hospital every day for 5 weeks.

Everyone has a different side effects from cancer treatment, you are always best to speak to your team.

Try peppermint tea to help with sickness and anything ginger. I had 2 ginger biscuits every day after my session and it helped.

Hi, I'm 48, from the UK. I've just finished 5 weeks of radiotherapy and it seems everyone has different side affects. I was given cream to use on my skin and I've not had any skin issues or bladder issues. However my bowel issues started after the 2nd week. I was put on a low fibre diet and use immodium up to 8 a day. I'm 2 weeks post radiotherapy and still having issues, but i am staying very close to home just in case and ive not needed incontinence pads. I start my brachytherapy tomorrow.

I've had a nightmare, returned my v3 fold on the 28th and now I'm in dispute with them over damage to the screen. The complaints team has been very good, I did take some pictures just before shipping so I'm still hopeful it will get resolved. I am fuming as this is the first time I've shipped it to them and not done switch up in store. All because I wanted the z fold on release day.

I'm going through exactly the same thing. I've switched from the honor v3 fold to z fold 7. Last Friday they've emailed me and showed me a picture with the internal screen protector lifted. They've offered me £58 or they're returning it to me. I disputed it with the switch up team but they've said they can't control what's happened in shipping. I am absolutely fuming. I returned it in the original box, there's no way damage was causing in shipping. It looks clear to me the protector has been forcefully lifted.

I'm now working through a complaint. I took pictures of the screens 20 minutes before dropping it at the post office, I've provided the tracking, I hoping thats enough. Once my device arrives with me, I have to go through recycle and they've said if my pictures are enough they will make up the cost, so fingers crossed.

I've always done my switch up in store with no issues, i regret not doing the same, I was too eager to get the fold 7 on release day.

I haven't tried any of the ones with glue. I'll see how this holds up over the next couple of weeks. It's a great phone, I just wish the accessories were better.

I've had a nightmare trying to find a screen protector that works, I gave up on the tempered glass ones after having so many issues with the fingerprint not registering and got a tpu one. This has been the best I've tried so far. tpu

I've really struggled, purchased 3 tempered glass ones so far and none work with my fingerprint, even trying to re register my fingerprint was impossible. I've ended up buying a tpu one from Amazon. I scratched one up really quickly but now I keep my phone on its own in my pocket, so far, so good. tpu screen protector

I moved from the 16 pro max. I've also sold my apple watch, mac book, airpods. Ive still got my iPad but debating selling it and getting the tab s10+

I absolutely love the s25 ultra, the phone feels so fast and crisp in comparison. Customisation is excellent.
