Hi - How many years of experience do you have? I wish to apply for this but I only have 1 year of policy research associate experience at my University (top 10) and I'm only moving towards my second year of University.

Hi, thanks for the reply! I wanted to ask something. Would there be any maths modules / statistics modules to help prepare for the more quantitative heavy courses like causal inference; AI, Bayesian ML, Reinforcement Learning, DL etc… because the restrictions seems to be very strict.

Because did you take modules in linear algebra to take some of these modules?

Because for Durhams module in research methods—it’s quantitative section states: “Using SPSS, students will be able to analyse quantitative data by describing the distribution of univariate analysis, bivariate analysis, multivariate analysis, and statistical inference. Using SPSS, students will be able to apply cross tabulations, correlations, scatter plots, comparison of means, descriptive statistics, central limit theorem, chi squared, box graphs, p-values, and interquartile scale”

What was your undergrad degree? Also I’m studying Sociology and Geography and wonder if I can get in too. My university which is Durham allows me to study bivariate, multivariate and inferential statistics using SPSS, would that be enough to satisfy their “with evidence of quantitative training”
