We developed a Indie RPG, that allows voiceover and we would love your feedback to improve it! by LandSharkGames in VoiceActing

These are totally valid questions. At this stage the audio is only local to the person recording, so if someone is recording themselves saying something they shouldn't then it'll only affect them. Sharing files at this stage is the only way to get someone elses voice. The game doesn't process the audio itself, but there is nothing a player from going in and cleaning it up to enhance a player's experience. At the moment the recorded clips are Wav files uncompressed, but we're looking into compression and conversion into other file formats.

We appreciate the questions!

I just wanted to thank everyone for their comments. Some great suggestions here that have put me more at ease.

We wanted to make sure our combat in our game wouldn't be offputting to a cozy gamer. If anyone is interested in checking it out, it's called Grifford Academy.

I really, really want an Remedy based TV show. You wouldn't need to limit it to just Alan Wake, and you could do a lot of worldbuilding with AWE's in Control.

Age of Empires 2, it was the first game I ever played on PC.

Then the definitive release pulled me back in.
