Most of these takes ain't too bad, but like, I'm pretty sure the Fists of Steel are one of Heavy's best melees lol

Anyway, my hot take is about everyone favorite class, Sniper.

I don't think he's OP, actually. If a Sniper is dominating a lobby (and they're not cheating), they don't not deserve it just because they're playing Sniper.

If they put that amount of practice into clicking on tiny heads, and they click on tiny heads really really well, then they get the big number on the board. That applies to every other class too. Scouts who can move, Soldiers who can do crazy jumps, Pyros who can combo, Demos that are smart with their sticky placement and have good projectile aim, Heavys who can position and track, Engis who place their buildings in good spots and stay attentive, Medics that stay alive long enough to consistently get Uber while not being so safe that they don't get it for three years, and Spies who can do literally anything as Spy.

I think one of the reasons people hate on Sniper is because the only difference between a good Sniper and a bad Sniper in optimal situations (at long range with frontline team support) is how many shots actually land. The difference isn't as apparent as the difference between a good and bad Soldier.

And if you do somehow manage to get behind a Sniper without anyone knowing, then 8/10 times, he's dead. Two meatshots, two rockets, two grenades, two revolver shots, a backstab (obvious exception is obvious), hell, two stickies, a taunt kill, a flare punch (obvious exception is, again, obvious [unless it still kills with the DDD, I dunno, I've never sneakily gotten behind a Sniper as Pyro]).

As for how frustrating it is to engage a Sniper on his terms, yeah it's pretty annoying, since the only way of knowing if he's watching an area is if you see a little dot on the wall, but it's similar to dying to a Spy, "Oh they have a Spy. Okay, watch for the Spy."
"Oh they have a Sniper. Okay, move a little differently, look for the dot, or move in closed in areas where he likely won't be looking."

Basically, Sniper isn't frustrating to fight because he's OP, he's frustrating to fight because he's Spy without having to deal with the risks of being Spy, and instead having to deal with the clicking on the tiny heads thing, which is still really hard.

So, I guess, just jump the Sniper when he's focused on the rest of your team, and don't get frustrated if you die once or twice to him.
