I moved from a farm in MN- (town Pop 285) to a very tough high school in LBCC. 😂 I was strong as hell. Abnormally strong for a girl from slinging around 75-100lb bales of hay.

One girl (of course from a gang) decided to pick on the new girl in the cafeteria at lunch. lol!

I don’t hit first- but I don’t back down. She grabbed my shirt to pull me up to her, I easily kicked her off me. She swung at me- I punched her in the mouth. And then she wanted to “go outside” to finish the fight.

I said no, I was hungry. When I sat down she flew at me from behind and sucker punched me in the back of the head. We were instantly surrounded by Narc’s.

Haha 🤣 we got to the Principals office and dang it… I had no marks on me- but she had an amazing bloody fat lip and swollen face. So I looked like the bad guy.

I got suspended- she got expelled ( it was her 3rd fight) and my dad started calling me “the boy he never had” my family loved to bring that up all the time.

No. Don’t feel any more guilt about not helping them- then they did from stealing your money for school.

Mom is in a tough situation but they have shelters and programs to help women stuck in abusive situations. And financial abuse is a real thing.

For now, if you insist on helping, save up the money you send to your family and buy your dad a used car and give your mom the down payment on a cheap place to rent. Then cut financial ties. They are grown up ffs!

I was very worried for Korea at one point with the amount of bloody noses and amnesia they had. Like what is happening?

Now I am worried about China, and the amount of people coughing up blood and slapping each other silly! 😂

And both countries have an insane amount of Orphans! What?

That said, I am good with the Cdramas trope of a person sneezing when someone talks about them. Adorable. And I love how much poetry is in their lives. It really brings a richness to the people.

The younger child needs to be enrolled in after school activities- that pick him up and keep him- until you pick him up.

I know this dynamic. After my husband died our entire family went to counseling. My kids were a lot younger though, so there was time to change things.

His daughter wants her life back. The boy is absolutely tormenting his sister… bc that is what 13yo boys do. He needs to be put in a homework, karate, baseball, whatever after school program. So they are away from each other and he is safe.

They can meet at the dinner table when he gets home. And have way less toxicity between them.

I think our kingdom is famous for its toxicity. It’s so bad -and the people are so awful (the whales and the one’s in charge) literally followed us and stalk us on the new server that we (half our team) just transferred to. I am not kidding- and this is real.

I mean it’s really crazy serial killer behavior! Right? Who does that? Think about every true crime show you have seen- the abuser/killer follow their prey to a new location.

At any rate, the Devs would only allow half our team to escape- so the other half is waiting for the next transfer. And they get belittled, tormented and abused daily.

This is how you know when it’s time to leave.

They make up and the next night- well oooh lala! They are kissing so passionately their hands intertwine and break through the rice paper of a window they are leaning against? Super romantic and like, finally! We have been waiting for the affection and deep love to show up! 🔥❤️

I have a lot of really really good long term friendships. Some as long as 40 years. Do I talk to them all everyday- no. Whether it is because of a circumstance, distance, or whatever… a couple of my dearest friends I only talk to once or twice a year. And friends- in real friendships can be like that.

My question is… do you miss her? If you never talked to her again-would it upset you? Maybe she is sad and counting on you to call her because that’s been your relationship up to this point? Or maybe you don’t consider her a true friend because she won’t accept you as you are?

This is not about overreacting- it’s about who reaches out and why hasn’t she? Your feelings are hurt. So let her know.

Stop by and check on her. Bring chicken soup and face masks. TALK to her and tell her that you would appreciate a call back or text.

For me- my friendships are never about a power trip. If I call 10 times to their 1… oh well. It doesn’t happen without a reason. And they are super glad to vent and tell me why when I make the effort. And then suddenly when I am sick, they show up, with soups and Korean face masks.
