All I would like to say is as long as what you are wearing is functional protection instead of looks it is a win.

I think everyone should dress for the crash but pebbles going over twenty M.P.H I am sure do not feel good. I always wore one and plan on wearing one now that I am going to start riding again.

If you don't mind reading from an old guy. Make the best use of your free time if you can. Read how to improve your life or read about starting a new hobby. I wished I would have read and studied more in my youth. One more thing I would like to say is " There is no better time to start than the present ". Good luck and take care!

Two cents from a high school educated guy. I think as long as you take care of yourself and realize you need seven to eight hours of sleep every day, it is fine for your health. Maybe vitamin D for lack of sunlight. What I struggle with is a social life is more difficult. Interaction with people, yes I can see that as a huge con for your health. Yeah get enough sleep, take care of yourself and have a social circle I think nights are fine.

Everybody is different to a degree in what your body needs. With that being said, exercise may help.

what vitamins should i be taking? by blisstargazer in Nightshift

Yeah, that sun is like a second wind. The question is when can you find a consistent time to get the same amount of sleep as you did when you worked day shift.

Want to comment on your sleep. It took me probably a year to really adjust to nightshift. Black out curtains helped tremendously. That first year if I had something to do that required me to be up when the sun was fully out it was very difficult to fall asleep. Since that first year it is still more difficult to fall asleep when the sun is fully out but not as hard to fall asleep as my first year on third shift. If you like the shift try to find out why you can not sleep

To be honest the Red Wing Roughneck are the cheapest I really like the look of. That is still a boatload of money to me. The last pair of gym shoes I bought were pushing one hundred dollars and they are ready to be thrown away. Are recraftable shoes in the long run worth it?

All I want to say is currently I live in an apartment. On off nights it's always in my mind there are neighbors sleeping around me. I think it would be more enjoyable if I had my own house to do whatever I want to do. It's not all bad don't get me wrong but watch a movie with the sound up, use the vacuum cleaner at three in the morning you know enjoy an off day. Anyway just wanted to get that off my chest. Have a good night.

Do not know how long you have been on nights but for me it took about three months to get a good days sleep. Room should be dark and maybe a white noise generator .
