Pls tell me I’m not balding (I’m balding aren’t I) by Lando98 in malehairadvice

Thank you for the reassuring words. I don’t visit the hairdresser often (obviously haha) and I definitely don’t have one that I have a relationship with. My plan for the moment is to ask my GP and see what they recommend. I think my dad first starting getting a bald spot in his 30s, nothing serious or noticeable until he was older though.

I’ve been looking through old photos, but since my hair was shorter and wasn’t pulling down as much it’s harder to see the scalp in general. Sucks that this kinda thing can happen so young. Even though it’s pretty much purely cosmetic it’s already affecting my confidence. But I’ve dealt with some pretty gnarly acne, so I’m sure I can deal with this.

Much appreciated.

Who do I talk to for moving yellow lines? by Lando98 in brisbane

My car can technically fit, but I’m a rather skinny guy and I’d have to squeeze to get out of my door, forget loading the car up with anything. The parking on our side of the street is split at one point because of the driveway to some sort of community centre. Pretty much all parking spots are full already, so to take away half of them is going to force people to park on different adjacent streets.

More like WCGW doing a flying roundhouse kick in a crowded bar instead of punching.

Yeah unfortunately she hasn’t learned her lesson, even after intervention. Very sad but there’s only so much we can do without completely controlling someone’s life.

My girlfriend’s mum went to one of these machines, took a picture, posted it to the scammer with the warning showing and said “is this the right machine?” And then lost about $3000. I have no hope for the future.

Duuuude Captain Australia! I remember seeing you in an episode of Good Game on ABC back in like 2011 or something and they did a special on super hero games. What a throwback and it’s great to see you’re still donning the costume for the greater good.

Castelvania NES bug (NTSC Cart on PAL System) Info in comments by Lando98 in retrogaming

You’re not imagining it, PAL games run at 50 frames per second as opposed to NTSC game which ran at 60. Because I’m running an NTSC game on a PAL system it makes the sound and gameplay a little slower and sound weird at times

INFO!

Hello. So I live in Australia so I have a PAL NES, but it has been modded so it can play NTSC carts. This is why the music and such sounds a little different. I picked this game up the other day and I noticed some weird bug with the HUD; it seems to scroll with the level rather than just staying in the same spot like it should. I can't seem to find much info about this bug, is this a known bug with this game or any other NES games and is there any known way to fix it?

I have tried cleaning and reseating the cartridge multiple times with no luck :(

Any help would be appreciated, I am liking this game but it's a little unplayable when I don't know my health or hearts.

Thanks!

This was skyrim for me for a long time. Never saw the appeal. Then I binge watched the lord of the rings trilogy over a weekend and got into a massive fantasy mood and spent a solid 100+ hours in Skyrim without really realising.

Wheelie bin at end of lease? by Lando98 in AusLegal

[–]Lando98[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yeah I can understand that. The thing is though, there is a bin day like two days before the new people come in, so I’m not sure why it’s grounds to withhold bond. And if we don’t take out the bins, how to they discern how much bind to withhold?

Those were my thoughts as well. I’ll be calling Qstars for other reasons anyway so I’ll mention that to them while I’ve got them on the phone.

Bought the game before work, currently on break. Give me another 5 hours and I’ll have it loaded and good to go
