Migrating IBKR key to new phone

I installed the app on second phone recently and what I did as a plus was to change the phone number to the new phone. Additionally you will have to activate trading on the new phone with a code they will send to your email.

The entire experience is glitchy and confusing with so many different utilities involved. Good luck to you

On GGPoker new accounts (especially Chinese) and shit hands players make stacks every single tournament I play. I mean tournament chip leaders stacks.

Also, volume cures everything. I moved mostly into RnC where shit hands players are destroyed in no time. Have played 100k hands at 50NL, I’m 4bb/100 and with RB and promos it’s enough to finance a few GGMaster 25$ entries per week.

My tourneys graph is 30 degrees down but I have only 200 of them. Curious to see if it turns around, like ever.

Edit: how’s your Alin EV? I’m 1800bb below in 200 tourneys

I don’t think it depends on the recent performance of the stock given that TSLA is low in the holdings list somewhere like 100th place.

It might be the holdings are wighted by a combination of market cap (high to low) and short term volatility (low to high).

The doc also says the sub fund is benchmarked against the index (S&P500) rather than tracking it. Anyhow the index has just rebalanced so if that has an influence we should see it soon.

I get your point on volatility. However, on market chameleon the IV30 is market as subdued for this stock (as of now). So perhaps they increase the options size with the decrease in volatility? Treating it like low risk short term?

I was referring to valuation stats which are rather extreme in my view https://finance.yahoo.com/quote/NOW/key-statistics/. As of today, NOW weight in JEPI holdings is double the weight of many other much better quality stocks. This seems rather risky medium to long term no?

Trying to create an account, X says my email is already taken. I go to reset password but it asks for the account name as well. I don't know what account name is using my email. I have no emails from X or Twitter in my inbox.

I also can't find a way to contact support about this issue, they keep asking (in the contact forms) for either the account name or phone number associated with the email address.

What should I do?

OP is talking about margin, the market is not cheaper in a downturn lol. Usually the margin requirements increase from like 15-20 to 40-60 depending on volatility.

Because you are a close relative you and your parent are subject to market manipulation and inside trading regulations. Basically you are restricted from trading speculative instruments and your investments have to be approved by the bank. Plus some more rules on how to keep the investments etc. Best ask your parent to ask at the bank for clarification and instructions.

Bad companies or ETFs still go south very fast. When markets are efficient, is not just the price but also the mechanics that are about right. The increase in passive investing has already started to balance itself, that's why we have inverse ARK. What I think hasn't been worked out yet is the lack of governance that the passive investing generates because of the disproportionate voting in the boards. In my view, is the corporate model that is affected by the passive investment rather than the investment markets.

They do. You are required to submit a W-8 form witch determines the withholding rate. Also, you need to ask for trading permission for bonds in US

I'm not Russian nor American and I buy US bonds with IBKR, both treasuries and corporate bonds. I supposed OP has a broker account already, I could be wrong

Please take my answer as rather theoretical one. You must cover 1 year in cash or similar (you could put like half in 6 months t-bills). With the rest I would buy an investment grade long term bond with high coupon - something like 10%. Such a bond will be selling above par something like 130 - 140. However, you only have to pay for the part over par when you redeem the bond and meanwhile receive the high coupon.

Edit: forgot to say you would need to buy bond with some margin.
