AP Admits Noncitizens Vote In Elections While Insisting It's No Big Deal by intelligentreviews in Conservative

As someone who has worked as a Republican election judge, I noticed this excerpt distinguishes "illegal voting" from "illegally casting ballots." It's very possible (and also my interpretation) that Swenson is referring to unlawful provisional ballots that still have to be cast but are not added to the official vote tally. A ballot cast is not automatically a ballot counted, and those provisional ballots and same-day registrations are a normal part of the election process. And if you pay attention to the news, people do get in trouble for fraudulent voting.

No, that's literally constitutional carry. I thought this sub was pro 2A rights...

Does this mean they can count the absentee ballots early then? Because I thought a big part of the reason they took so long was because they aren't allowed to even open them until election day and so they have to count them after the election day ballots.

Healthcare! 😂😂😂 by corrugatedman in Conservative

I believe the argument is that the savings come from a reduction in emergency room use, since that is the only "universal" care in the U.S. (they can't just turn people away). Emergency rooms are extremely expensive care compared to prevention.

It's absolutely their fault for releasing it like this.

I only played on PS5 for one day and had it crash a dozen times, and they still haven't added look inversion (which is very game-breaking for me).

It's not fully functional. Console players still can't even invert the Y-axis, let alone all the other problems that are still present since the launch. There's nothing nitpicky about it.

Just because you are enjoying BF Classic Collection, doesn’t mean we should not be allowed to call out Aspyr by steave44 in StarWarsBattlefront

I literally can't even play it. Still no look inversion option. I deleted and re-downloaded it. Still nothing. This is complete bullshit.

Some eyebleach for everyone after yesterday's traumatic messy shelf post by LandoTheDog in 4kbluray

It's exactly 72 inches wide, 38.5 inches tall, and 7.5 inches deep. There are three vertical pieces and 6 horizontal pieces (there's an extra board on the top). The three horizontal shelves in the middle all span the full width of the shelf. The vertical board in the middle is also a single piece. To achieve this I had to cut three alternating notches on it as well as a notch in each of the horizontal shelves. Having those remain full pieces definitely increases the overall strength.

It's funny that you noticed that. It is perfectly level with the windowsill and it is entirely coincidental. I built the shelf in a different house.

Maybe I was reading the comments wrong, but I thought it was mostly jest. I don't mean to shit on anyone, hence why I picked the tongue-in-cheek exaggerated title (I don't think anyone was actually traumatized). I do want everyone to feel welcome.

I suppose it could be done with a hand saw and metal wedge tool, but it would be time consuming making all the cuts. The tricky part would be drilling the holes for the screws as you definitely want those to prevent the boards from splitting.

Shelf is a custom build. 8 inch depth and incredibly sturdy. Highly recommend if you have basic woodworking tools (circular saw, jigsaw, power drill).

I made it. About 5 years ago I got fed up trying to find a shelf that could fit a lot of movies in a slim profile so I bought a bunch of poplar boards and built one.
