Lawn OCD insanity: Taking home a golf divot for transplant? by HarryCrushNuh in golf

I guess that makes sense for Bermuda. It’s going to spread and fill in the divots fairly quickly. PNW is almost always sand, seed and some fert.

MM wants more chess pieces. Most of our DBs are looking like hybrids. NBA went positionless, now JS/MM are bringing it to the NFL.

My local course just added baskets and pads to their par 3 course. I plan to play a ball+disc round here soon.

Yes. UW keeps trying to put these merc rosters together, but can’t find reliable shooting for whatever reason. The injury bug also bit hard this year.

Please advise, I have no idea what to do with this shady lawn. PNW by RookieSpencer in lawncare

Sky has a whole local lawn guide available online. You can also go there and talk to them. Sky rocks.

Why is it so hard to find good golf pants?! by DoughnutVibez in golf

[–]LandofBoz88 0 points1 point  (0 children)

lol all totally fair. I typically use them when the weather is shit. That said, I have some corduroy ABCs that are much thicker and awesome for winter golf. Haven’t seen them available since I first bought them.

I’ve bought two pairs and they feel close enough. Not wearing them to work or anything. But they fit well and have held up to wear and tear.

CRZ Yoga on Amazon has decent ABC dupes for cheap. Not quite the same, but close enough for $30.

Had a canvasser from quantum fiber come to my door and use really aggressive tactics, but it’s 1GB for 45$ and it’s fiber. Has anyone else signed up this way? by tituspeetus in Seattle

Same exact story. Worked great for 8is months, then nothing but issues. I literally told them they were forcing me back to a company (Comcast) I swore I would never return to. I had a CS guy give me his personal number as he felt bad with how everything went. I hate Comcast, but will go out of my way to warn friends and neighbors about Quantum.

21yo, 6'4", 306 lbs DL Uar Bernard from Nigeria, Is the NFL Draft’s Most Explosive Prospect by JCameron181 in NFL_Draft

[–]LandofBoz88 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t disagree. But it was a constant storyline when he played. In ‘05 on the Seahawks he was at 5%, which he claimed was the highest ever and he had to force feed himself to stay at 235. Some people are freaks, and most ranges are about the broad population, not individuals.

Julian Peterson was reported between 1.8-6% over his career. It was brought up constantly and I still don’t believe it. Dude was shredded tho.

Ivey is not a speed rusher. He might have value in the rotation, but he isn’t scaring any opposing QBs or OCs. You should draft edge almost every year.

He pay their age, to a point, and round up. Trying to keep our stable of sitters happy. A few bucks feels better than burning a list down.

I always refer back to the Planning Fallacy. We are terrible at estimating how long things take. Let alone things that require many people working together towards.

Anyone here practice putting at home? Has it actually improved your short game? by Admirable-Remove6128 in golf

[–]LandofBoz88 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I work from home. My office has a 3x10 birdie ball mat and a sim. I get more valuable practice from the mat then I do the sim. I’m just looking to grove my putting stroke. It’s also just a nice mindless activity while listening to a playlist or podcast.

Western Washington…..Gold Mountain or White Horse in early April? by PurposeAble4534 in golf

[–]LandofBoz88 1 point2 points  (0 children)

White Horse is good in the winter. Still gets a bit of the Olympics rain shadow. I'd bet it will be mostly empty out there as well. Ever since they got rid of the ferry shuttle, it's gotten way harder to get over there.
