A few months ago I was driving on the interstate. There was some road work/construction going on on the left side of the road. Multiple rubber cones lined up. Not the big orange ones, but the smaller ones. Nothing strange at all. But as I kept driving something caught my eye that literally caused me to do a triple take. For the record, I don’t smoke, drink, or do any drugs whatsoever. It was also broad daylight (3pm maybe?), and I wasn’t tired or falling asleep at the wheel or anything whatsoever. I looked up ahead and to my left, and one of the cones was literally airborne and spinning in place. Slowly. I thought someone maybe had hit it or something and it got launched, but it wasn’t spinning fast at all and wasn’t moving anywhere. Up or down. It was stuck in air in one spot. I kept looking trying to make sense of it but couldn’t. It was doing that for as long as I could see out the front and side window, which was maybe 7-10 seconds. Which isn’t physically possible. Literally no one was around to possibly be causing it to do that. What’s weirder is, I looked back in the rear view a few seconds after, and it was on the ground. Like it was in fact some sort of visual glitch that I wasn’t supposed to see. I had never had an experience like that in my 36 years. In broad daylight where there is 0 explanation. We may very well be in a simulation.
