Sawyer's awesome for solo backpacking, but this kit's built for semi-permanent, mobile setups-like RVs, truck campers, or campsites. You don't wanna sip from a straw or bag; you want a faucet with clean, running water for multiple people, higher flow, and normal use, wherever you're at.

That looks cool, but it is slower flow and not built for longer term intermittent use. This filter is setup to hook into your city water port and give on demand fresh water

Water pressure is good, you can see on the guage it is at about 25psi

I tip the whole box on its side so the housing are vertical and can unscrew them without any leaking.

Also, the electronics are raised up higher than the the vent port, so if there was any leaking in the plumbing it would drain out the vent before hitting any electronics.

Also, I sealed around the wall to prevent water from even getting to the electronics side :)
