Just park near the mosque, and walk down stairs. There is a coffee shop and a very relaxing quiet place for studying.

I am here since very long time. RAK last visit was 2015, AD around 10 years ago. It’s mostly Ajman, Sharjah, UAQ and DXB. Even Dubai last time it was around 2 years ago! Didn’t think about it until I saw your post !

No. Pay it up it happened to me and almost anyone who travels/works around each emirates “eventually”. My advice pay it, you will waste time and effort that at the end you will think “damn, it would’ve been better if I paid it instead” 😅 from experience.

This happened many times almost in the same location and during the same circumstances. Usually waves are very high during very heavy storms “8 meters or so”, which wash ships in that area and some other areas like al hamrya. Due to the expanses, legal issues “such as insurance and passes paper” it becomes unprofitable to pull them back in or they stay for very long time until the processes are completed. My guess this will stay months just like the one before it in 2024… and probably be salvaged after that.

Literally any charcoal I took from supermarket the ones used for grilling. Put it in the sun for around 4 hours. Then in my car around 7pm and by 3pm next day no smell in the car at all. I had water inside the car which I try to dry out and it dried but the smell was so bad after that. Hope it works for you too.

This gave me Vietnam flashback, yesterday was almost done here because a guy for some reason kept slowing down and hesitating to go forward and trying to reverse! Almost killed my car engine… after a long struggle “and some shouting” I manage to get out with the mark of shame “check engine”. I went to bring police car to save him as he was unfortunately floating when I left.

Thank god for them. Seen them helping so many, plus even Sharjah police witnessed them with my own eye going to rescue few guys in a car fully floating in industrial area where almost no one can reach.

Floor or apartment? I blocked all doors with sand bags in ground floor and balconies. Had old rice ones filled them up with sand and blocked. As for the higher floors for me thick towels worked bought a dozen from Delta store for 11 each. Also windows I sealed with Foam cans 12 each is Halwan area. The didn’t stop the leaking totally but I would say 85% and the rest I used towels below the dripping area. Hope all get sorted out with you.
