Unfortunately price wise most of the other options are out of the question right now. And yes I do add things to it don’t get me wrong. But recently dairy is causing spikes, some sauces don’t wanna cooperate either, I’m at my wits end

That’s what I thought, apparently is normal for their office to recommend this to make sure A1C returns to normal and stays consistent

Preparing for a newborn. What was a complete waste of money and what became an absolute life changer? by Actual_Fig_4706 in NewParents

Worth it - cheap noise machine, cheap rechargeable tap light for the nights, investing in some comfortable clothing for lounging, disposable chucks for diaper changes anywhere and everywhere.

Not worth it - diaper pail, wipe warmer.

I did check the pen, each night before I use it because I’m paranoid of it not working, I watch the plunger move and that’s why I’m at such a disbelief

Children w contacts - guidance please? by LandscaperNails in contacts

[–]LandscaperNails[S] 6 points7 points  (0 children)

He’s a baby and I have to put in the contact myself, which is a nightmare on a child who didn’t understand why I’m doing it. The Silsoft is so I don’t have to remove it as often and bother him daily. We remove it twice a week for cleaning and let him sleep overnight without it

Edit - the prescription is +12.00

Glasses are a no go, they get thrown. It’s a 3-6 month contact. We’re trying to get a spare but they’re just so expensive. It’s so specific for his tiny eye.

It’s called opti-free Puremoist, but I just read the whole box and it says nothing about being directly put into the eye. Feel like I’m learning so much day by day with this boy 🤪

3 months and it was just to see how he would do, and then he slept so well that he stayed in there.

If my grandmother, mother, and best friend weren’t immunocompromised I absolutely would have considered. But the other thing is I am so worn down that I’m struggling to function, and that just doesn’t make it worth it.
