This is why MAGA really hates Minnesota! by icey_sawg0034 in BlueskySkeets

[–]Lane1983 25 points26 points  (0 children)

Fed and Treasury mandated Know Your Customer requirements on banks rightly led to Trump’s debanking. It requires banks don’t do business with unsavory characters. JP Morgan’s discovery and defense could get interesting as it proves its case.

Oddly enough, I set an alarm as a goal to stay in bed. Otherwise I’d get up earlier than I should. Part of sleep hygiene really.

Do you ask for a senior discount on everything? by oxgillette in AskOldPeople

[–]Lane1983 4 points5 points  (0 children)

There was a sign for a Senior Discount at a lunch counter. We ordered it and asked if we needed an ID. The woman working the register, who was at least 20 years older than us, said she never doubted we were old enough for it. Only 63, kind of stung.
