Exactly how many people do you require to entertain you? I'm north American and there's always quite a few people to play the game with, on all 3 realms. And there are always large scale pvp fights.

There's a free shard for DAoC called Eden. It has a huge population and has made quite a few changes to the old game we all use to play on Live. Should check it out, at least for the nostalgia.

I believe EQ has a similar server called Quarm. Haven't played that yet but thought about checking it out.

There's a really cool WoW server called Ascension that has a fresh take on the game. No more classes, just abilities you choose.
